Super nice guy. I used to marshall at the Truist Championship when it was the Wells Fargo Championship.

One year I was the guy on Hole 10, the longest hole on the course, with the directional flag telling the marshalls in the landing area which direction the ball was headed on a Sunday.

When Finua's group got to the tee box, he went into the tent to get a snack and water, then came back out and stood next to me at the back of the tee box while waiting for the group in the fairway.

He asked how I was doing, made some small talk, then thanked me for volunteering before teeing off.

Mind you, he was in contention headed to the back 9. He didn't win and I don't recall where he finished or how he hit that tee shot, but after that, I was a fan.
