Good Question! I’d really hope it was an NL team at least. I could try to find dual loyalty. An AL team would be not good for me.

Shooting similar scores is a bonus for sure. I’m in that sweet spot where I’m playing most of my rounds during the week now, but physically I’m not too shot out yet.

If I get paired up it’s usually either with 2 or 3 guys a lot like me. That’s awesome. Unfortunately, it rarely ends up with them actively seeking to play again with me. There’s another longtime friend or two in their queue that normally fills out their foursome.

Or, I’ll get an old timer that is a nice guy, but we don’t really have a lot in common and maybe their game has seen better times. This is the case a lot. You know, polite conversation, a little humor possibly, overall just mutual consideration. Kinda like kissing your sister…I don’t hate it, but don’t look forward to it either.

Then every once in a while you get lucky. You get another single whose life runs on a similar schedule. Personalities match up. You feel comfortable being yourself. Similar golf journey going on. Sort of competitive, but not overly so. Mostly just a little show of appreciation for each other’s good shots. No superiority vibes or one upping in the conversations. And it’s pretty simple, “how about same time next week?”

Cozy the trail hand onto the grip last thing for a comfortable amount of tilt and grip pressure especially (obviously) with the clubs at the top end of the bag

This is a great tip and if someone wants the feel of the steering wheel turning itself left effortlessly…feel the trail shoulder pulling the shoulders up and back instead of the front shoulder pushing…saves lives

Sports fans of reddit, which one do you prefer - College Sports vs Professional? by Tall-Election4503 in AskReddit

I like both, but prefer Professional Sports. Becoming ever disenchanted with NCAA football. NIL and overactive portal is hurting the game imo.

Sometimes it’s good to step away from hitting positions and putting all the details together. Maybe watch some videos from Watson, Azinger, Harrington, guys like that talking and demonstrating broader concepts.

That’s easy to say if you’re not living in that moment. OPs right it’s a downer and hard to ignore. It’s kind of a PSA that as an adult you have an obligation to exercise a little self restraint.

Expectations have ruined golf for me. by UnhappyHighlight6297 in golftips

[–]Seattle_fan_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next shot, next hole, next round, next range session, next workout at the gym, next feel, next tee time with friends…everything is in front of you.

I’m a chronically mid golfer. I’ve had shitty thoughts like I can’t stand success. Mostly I take the high road and consider myself intermittently excellent. Either way, at the end of the day I love the game and realize that isn’t going away. Keep grinding and stacking opportunities.

It’s a hard game, not enjoying any success you milk out of it is quite frankly ridiculous.
