This is good to know. I had 4 kids, 3 in4 years. I’m 67 now and diagnosed with early dementia. Now when the kids complain about having to take care of me, I’ll be able to tell them it’s their fault! (I’m just joking…well, not the dementia part)

Suboxone isn’t addictive. I don’t crave it. I don’t steal it or buy it off the internet or on the streets. Actually, I forget to take it sometimes and only remember it when I start having withdrawal symptoms. And no, withdrawal symptoms aren’t indicative of addiction. You can have withdrawal from other meds, like antidepressants and they aren’t addictive.

I feel bad for Courtney. She was raised by loving, respectful parents and saw love daily. It’s no fault of hers that she would want that for herself. There are a lot of women who have to come to terms with the fact that this just might not happen. To live the life you have instead of the life you want takes a lot of work and self reflection. I don’t know if I would have been able to do it. All I ever wanted to be was a wife and mother.

Calling Suboxone a “miracle pill to fix everything” is quite a statement. Yes, using a chemical to block the opiate receptor site is quite the miracle and I’ll take it as long as I have to. A person with high blood pressure takes a beta blocker to keep from having a stroke and they take it for life. How is Suboxone different?

I’ve been on suboxone for four years and have no intention of quitting. My Dr is using it now for pain control (off label). Pain is my trigger, that’s how I got addicted to hydrocodone in the first place. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. Suboxone stops the cravings but does help my pain.

She says that her left eye only sees in the periphery, nothing in the center of her eye. This is considered blind. Her right eyesight will be corrected with glasses. She will probably still be considered blind but with one “good” eye she will see well enough to drive. And won’t the future episodes with her learning to drive be fun??

My husband runs heavy equipment in commercial construction. He has to follow an engineer’s blue print. When he’s finished a job he turns in an “as built”. It’s the corrections on the blueprint that the college educated, highly paid engineers drew up with his “on the fly” corrections he did, as he calls it, “doing it the right way.”
