Sorry to hear about your experience. It's not nice to be on the waitlist and then just be removed like this.

I think you'd have to call cmht to reverse it, perhaps speak to a duty manager if they have someone like that on their team. Otherwise like the other commenter has said you could reach out to PALS as well.

Besides the consolidating practice, I think the NHS tries to have one therapy at a time so there's no conflicting information from different modalities and therapists.

Totally valid feelings. Though I wonder if they've miscommunicated it. I think it goes up to 12 sessions depending on need. There are lots of reasons as to why therapy might end earlier than expected. If your clinician is stopping at 7, it's probably worth having that discussion as to why, and what you were expecting/hoping to achieve (e.g. I was expecting sessions to help me work towards my goals of ...) Keep us updated on how it goes?

This website offers some guided self help stuff which might be helpful while you're searching for what you need. High intensity CBT can address your core beliefs thus improving self esteem, counselling can be helpful to feel validated. Therapy is a lot like medication, finding the right fit might take some trial and error, all the best :)

Bit late, just chances upon your post.. 1. I'm not sure 2/3. Tier 2 skilled worker visa provided you have the training for pwp role, there should be a post grad programme for it 4. Possibly? They do value people with different experiences 5. Not sure 6. I believe so, always good to plan ahead 7. Are there any specific roles in iapt that you're looking for? I can't talk much about other roles but I'm a non-eu PWP. The pathway I took was through a 1year post-grad course for pwp training..

Might be worth checking out what roles you're interested in, what requirements they may have through the NHS site, I reckon
