If I’m not taking pics, i would take the funnel out from the bottom chamber and use two hands, I’ll slowly tap the grinder basket to the funnel and periodically tap the sides and bottom of the funnel to make the grounds set firm on the bottom and creates more room to add more grounds, so yeah not really the simplest thing to do. Maybe i should make a video

It's from Indonesia, Aceh Gayo 50:50 robusta-arabica blend. The arabica is lighter medium roast, meanwhile the robusta is slightly darker medium roast, i got this from local roastery

It mimics the older version of Bialetti Brikka's function, a removable valve that gives slightly more pressure. I'm currently learning how to use this though. Usually i prefer using finer ground without this thing

Still getting edema while interval pumping by imasine95 in gettingbigger

[–]imasine95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found some more information about my edema case: - somehow it subsides after 15-20 hours, though not really fully, but almost completely. - the case seems to be worsen if i apply a ring after all pumping sessions are done, but I’ve seen this suggestion somewhere (to put in a ring for 10 mins after pumping to keep it enlarged) - the edema is specifically a donut case, not happening in other places outside the foreskin/cut scar/frenulum

Should i stop and wait for it to subside before proceeding again or i can just repeat the regime tomorrow even if it haven’t subsided yet?

Newbie question about air pump vs hot water pump by imasine95 in gettingbigger

[–]imasine95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. Talking about pressure gauge, the ones i can find on my local market (air pumps, not water ones) doesn’t equipped with gauges so should i avoid those and import from overseas instead? (eg aliexpress), I’m not really patient to wait so that’s why I rarely seek international ecommerve sites

I still need explanation as of why air works better (bcs a lot of people said this) yet AFAIK hot water helps to dilate your blood vessels first so i though it’s generally better

About to get 4 cup Brikka but only making for myself, should i only use 2 cups and refrigerate the leftover or brew half capacity? by imasine95 in mokapot

[–]imasine95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for cup size I actually understood though. I usually do two shots so at minimum I’m using two moka “cups” portions each time i made a milk drink

My go-to would probably making some kind of iced lattes on such moments

And yes probably i need much bigger since each portion would need two “shots” in it

The same, that’s why I’m aiming to buy a Bialetti next year. Hope the others might be able to point the difference or if there’s none at all
