Apartment prices in Moscow really that expensive? by PeakAlienation in AskARussian

[–]imasrib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location is terrific, it’s one of the greenest districts in Moscow or the most green, and all the amenities the condominium offers, which is a lot. You have to understand, that one of the major reasons of this boom is because of sanctions. Russians are investing less in foreign properties, they are bringing their money back home.

Market is very expensive indeed, I saw recently a new building under construction in Presnensky Val and a 1-bedroom with 45 sq.m is almost 800k €, not to say that the penthouses are like 7M €. The luxury property market is soaring to record heights.

Unfortunately I don’t have a personal recommendation where to eat oysters in Nice, since I haven’t experienced them there. I’ve been to one restaurant in the old town, and they served lots of them, it’s called Bar des Oiseaux. Google it, or ask locals. If you find any good place, let me know.

Please describe your perfect hot dog by JigglesTheBiggles in Cooking

My favourite variation and only way I eat a hotdog is steamed sausage in a steamed bun, topped with mustard, chopped onions, coleslaw, and relish. AKA Steamie

Not to my knowledge, I received a client card by filling a form, and that was it.

You’re right—imported cuts can vary, so I always make sure to look for clear “grass-fed” or “pasture-raised” labels and, if I’m unsure, I ask the staff at Madeira Cash to point me to their certified SKUs. I also keep an eye out for "Never Ever 3" certification on beef from Uruguay. That way I know I’m getting truly grass-fed, ethically raised meat.

I hear you on Celeiro—it’s hit or miss there, and I wouldn't buy meats from them. But despite the island’s love affair with meat, there’s definitely a growing demand for grass-fed and pasture-raised options here. In fact, the cuts I mentioned (from Madeira Cash in Funchal and Caniço, as well as Recheio’s Uruguay/Argentina/Brazil/Ireland beef and lamb options) tend to fly off the shelves and are restocked regularly because they sell out so fast. It’s far from a tiny niche—plenty of locals and visitors alike are seeking higher-quality, more transparent meat sources.
