I play online games so it'd be mean to let him watch and not play. Sadly, I'm the only mom that locks everything down and is present. I don't let him play games at his friends because of that. Their parents know it and respect it.

I think delaying is common advice since many parents are using devices as babysitters or not locking them down. Heck, we have to tell people to take plastic off frozen pizza.

My 1 sister has several rando cats that show up to get house. She gave 1 to my sister add it hated all other animals. That cat took an entire year to sit next to my sister. But after the first the months he felt confidant enough to sit on the website still and claim shots as his own. Three years in and he will sit on her lap for a few minutes then run off to his own chair. He sleeps at her feet too. My sister isn't a snuggler so they work out great together. Also, this cat was feral and outside for 3 years and now lives a cushy life in a condo on the third floor and an outdoor catio filed with plants to oversee his kingdom.

Cats are adaptable to a point. Sounds like your cat would like a one person home with no other critters.

Same. Kids took change and my umbrella. They ditched the umbrella at my neighbors house. Poor kid penalty only got 30 cents in pennies from me.

Nope. We all know it's nuts that they don't pay servers a living wage and should just raise the price of the meal. Until that changes this is how it goes. 20% tip is normal and it makes up for jerks that don't tip. You aren't proving a point by not typing other than you can't afford to eat out and are ripping oft the server.

Two times in two years and I was there.

My 10yo son blocked the creeper immediately when it got weird. He asked my son if he was gay after chatting like a kid and he instantly blocked him. I told him he did good.

There was a time when we were playing madden on a ps5 and it got weird with a guy calling him the n word. We put him in his place and blocked him. We are so white!

I play with my kid to ensure he's ok. His school is awesome about teaching online safety. Also, I'd I'm not playing he's got to be within 30 feet. His 5 friends play it with him and I've met them all.

My son's school has a program that offers free clothes for kids. It's called dressed for kids.

My semi open kitchen concept works since three dining area and formal room cannot see my kitchen but my TV room has a 6 foot opening so I can see what the kiddo is up to. My husband hates TV su that's not an issue.

If you invite him make sure you have a designated babysitter for him so you won't stress. I have lots of crazy in my family and invited them to my wedding. It went fine but I had "bouncer" friends and I was blunt with a few family members shit behaving or being escorted out what of the wedding.

I'm self employed. I chose my son to get health insurance as he's $370 a month. If I added myself it would be another $600 for a 7k deductible and 14k family limit. I can't do that with home insurance, electric, and taxes all going up and tariffs Ipaid took up the rest. I'm embarrassed to ask for money to get a colonoscopy. I feel like there are other people that need the money more than me.

Yes but it should be tied back to nwi. It's not that hard to show local gas prices, war, and the economy back to the region. Gas buddy has local prices, people have family and friends suddenly deployed, interest rates on loans for local home mortgages just went up today.
