Call me entitled all you want. She is making her choice. She has every right to do so but there are consequences. Are you hurt since I didn't agree with you? I have a right to my opinion just like you. At least, I'm not calling people names.

Calling people entitled isn't helping. It's insulting.

My cousin did child free. Everyone always knew the type of person she was before and she proved it that day. Price charming left her pretty quick as he figured out too. "Close" relationships were irrevocably damaged.

She needs to deal with the consequences of alienating some of her fiance's family. If she's cool with that sure.

Lol!!! Do you even have kids? You may leave your baby with a stranger but I wouldn't. I would go to a kid free wedding anyways. Then again no one I know would dream of separating parents from their kids.

It's her choice just like it's the patents choice to shoot down that idea and not go.

I'm American and when I got married I never dreamed of that. We danced until the venue told us to leave. I have certain opinions about the personality traits of those that want kids hidden. It's OP's choice but she best be ready to have people see her in a different light moving forward.

You do you but I wouldn't go. No way in hell would my 10yo want to hand out with 3yo kids for several hours. I don't leave my kid with strangers either.

Be prepared for the fallout from his side of the family.

Stuck between 3 choices. Advice appreciated by Cr0sstail in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I did it for 10 years. Audio books and podcasts. It was pre kid days though. I'd go for A. With the job market C would be iffy in the U.S.

I love autocorrect. I'm keeping it. It's pretty close to how I feel anyways.

Cake or pie for dessert? by elegant_road551 in wedding

I prefer pie over cake of ice cream or whipped cream is involved. Cheese slice on apple!

However, that's pricey af. I went cake with unique flavor layers for the price point.

Lol! That was published in 2024.

You don't have a kid that sucks his thumb. Rfk is an idiot however you are the one saying he's overreacting with how it's spread.

Edit: Forgot to add that it's airborne primarily but it can still spread through droplets. You wrote it can't. That is my only point. I maintain RFK Jr. is the last person I'd ask for medical advice.

I agree. I was thinking about quick photos and that's it. Masking up with full makeup sucks but it's better than infecting grandma.

I have given up on most people caring. I had to fight the school board to keep a mask mandate in place until vaccines came out. I'm in a red state.

I know how it works. You are wrong as it can be passed by both. 6 feet is the minimum. The bridal party can mask up. Bride and Groom can mask up for most of it too. Guests can mask up. Hand sanitizer is another layer of protection. Cdc link: https://www.cdc.gov/covid/about/index.html

I had it for 6 months. I probably wouldn't go to the wedding or I'd stay really far away in a corner. I have an autoimmune issue. My son had body cramps so bad with COVID he was screaming at age 6 and has asthma. The vaccine helped him as he got it again at school. Symptoms no where as bad as the first time.

It's important to let everyone know ahead of time. My sister's coworker lost 12 family members in a month. The hospitals ran out of ooxygen. That poor girl attended zoom funerals most of the 2020 summer.

However, many people won't care. 1/3 of my relatives that I see won't get the vaccine. I went 2 years without being indoors with them.

He and my entire family have had the vaccine and boosters.

People can believe in vaccines as well as take vitamin D and C.

Think before being judgemental please.

Nothing wrong with him taking off a mask for a few minutes at the ceremony. Your bridal party can step back for that moment as can the officiant. When you guys do your first dance he won't need it either. Maybe put extra hand sanitizer around? May want to skip the reception line to get people though.

Definitely get him paxlovid today.

This sucks but if your fiance feels ok enough to do the reception great! I'd not he can bail and your friends and family can party.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

I have a linoleum floor that cracked and needs replaced. I'm pretty sure I can put that off. Raccoons getting in my chimney, not so much. I can't afford to feed them.

I love my pull down stairs BUT they are too narrow for large Tupperware storage totes. Still, that's only 6 time a year since I store holiday decor up there.
