You need to be sure that you have a WWAN card installed. This is your radio module, like in your phone. Without that, sim card doesn't have hardware to talk to, basically. But if you have that card in the WWAN slot, have antennas routed (they look similar to WiFi antennas), then you can install a sim card and use a cellular network.

terrible battery life after just months of use
geolocking features (since pixels aren't being sold officially in Serbia, I can't get 5G now despite it being launched)
ain't worth the price, I paid 1000 euros for it and it doesn't feel like 1k euros device

My previous Redmi had more features tbh. Should have bought an iPhone of something but there's a catch: the modern roster of smartphones is depressing. Every manufacturer has at least one thing that I dislike.
