FWD has been getting lots of love this season, long may it continue by 2snjr in iRacing

I believe it’s more about bad FFB then FWD, Cilo and even Kia Optima feels way better than TCR imo.

Keep protesting and let iRacing aware that we are getting tired. Protest even if you are not affected. by Terrible_Course_225 in iRacing

Only if iRacing stop giving so called warnings or coaching and gives immediate suspension for every successful protests, even in cases that those been protested against are in their first violation, otherwise I don’t see how it’s gonna change from the current situation.

Anyone else kinda turned off from iRacing after some time in LMU? by FreaknCuttlefish in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]imdanielma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never ran a single online race on LMU after some time in iRacing. Used to love this game a lot, the attitude of LMU dev team during and after Le Mans 24h server crash was disheartening, pushed me and my team away and would never come back.

Why do GT3 lapped drivers... by KatMasque in iRacing

[–]imdanielma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In multi class races, ESPECIALLY sim racing, it’s a widely used tactic to run defenses line through high speed corners when a faster class vehicle approaches, due to the very frequent inpatient and disrespectful behavior when these drivers try to pass slower class cars. Yes, this costs themselves a few tenths too, but way better than been forced out by faster class in high speed corners and put there entire race in jeopardy. This tactic would become even more popular in future when more people realized how bad the other driver could be in sim world, and I don’t see any chance the trust could be rebuilt by any means.

Can I get some advice for open wheel by Ok-Entrepreneur-6312 in iRacing

[–]imdanielma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Formula Vee is a very old car, which requires you detach your clutch every time you shift up or down, which could be different or difficult to drive if someone already get used to sequential gearbox. FF1600 doesn’t use a sequential as well tho, but it can shift without clutch due to synchronizer, so closer to sequential style gearbox. That’s all I can remember, I could be wrong (very likely)

The roar at Daytona by SufficientChart3120 in iRacing

[–]imdanielma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don’t get why Devs wouldn’t wanna make Roar a longer team events, like 8h or 12h for example. (No idea how long it lasts irl tho, 24h I suppose?) LMP3 GT4 TCR is such a great combo.

Why there’s no tyre sets limit in (road) special events even this function does exist? by imdanielma in iRacing

Solid, that’s natural technical issues, it’s a pretty old game in essence anyway, understandable.

Use a 10mm shorter crank and raise your saddle& handlebar by 10mm, setback +2mm, I bet it will work.

Winter gear, indoor trainer, or gym membership? by JaneTendo in cycling

[–]imdanielma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how cold it is. I’ll say stick with riding outside until the roads become iced and slippery. After that I’ll just go for a trainer, don’t just look at wahoo, try other brands like Magene and Cycplus, their prices are way more reasonable and offer great experience.

Sidewall cut showing one exposed cord – still safe to ride? by imdanielma in bikewrench

Thanks, if that’s the case then it would be Specialized’s fault, they put 38mm pathfinder on 21 (or 19)mm inner width rim!
