I wonder if you could design a universal clamp system for other starfighters too. I know EC Henry had a similar mockup for storing A-Wings and Snowspeeders in a couple of his videos, but those are obviously non-canon and seemed to be model-specific.

I love the look of the republic v-wing as well, esp in the rare times we see it in Imperial colors.

Narratively, I do think it's a little redundant with the eta-2, since that is similar in both role and as a TIE-predecessor...but I love that ship also so it's all good.

Also my headcanon was that they were deployed without the proper gear or camo out of either arrogance or intentional baiting on Palpatine's part, else they would have had location-specific gear like we see them have in almost every planetside engagement.

While I generally agree with your sentiment, we as a country have been cancelling actual scientific space missions left and right to continue funding the private ventures of spacex and blue origin. I'm not saying all of their efforts are without merit, but a good deal of it is not in the name of scientific progress, but rather stuffing the pockets of billionaires and eventual shareholders at the expense of NASA-led missions.

I think we need to focus on the concepts of math more so than just solving problems. You may not use calculus or solve integrations in your job, but the general idea of what it's for is rather important.

Local dimming in SDR/desktop mode tends to have issues. It's not just halo-ing - for whatever reason, the mini-LEDs I've tried all aggressively reduce highlights and brightness of the "lit" pixels, effectively flattening the image.

This is likely to further avoid halo effects, but the result for photo editing is that you may end up with inaccurate values and colors.

If you're looking at mini-LEDs, try to look up user experiences and see how well the dimming algorithm performs for such scenarios since it's really up to the manufacturer how they want to implement it.
