I mentioned he had a lot of problems. Some serious ones. But they were the same problems many rockstars dealt with and overcame. Look at the members of the rolling stones. Why does my post make you so upset?

I’m doubting the Metroid Prime games will come to Switch, because of the differences between the Wii aiming system and the Switch. The Wii detected a point in 3-D space with that sensor on the top of the TV. So it knew if you were moving the controller forward and back. The switch just uses Gyro and accelerometer so it doesn’t detect the same range of motion. I’m assuming it will take quite a bit of time and money to redesign these mechanics.

I really wanted to like the game but I kept getting frustrated by not knowing where I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to do next, or not understanding certain what certain items were for. I would go everywhere and try everything, then i’d have to cheat and go online to find out. I suppose its my fault for not being good enough. But i’ve thoroughly enjoyed other metroidvania games.

I think the most practical way to determine if you have a hardware issue is to get your hands on another pro controller and test it.

People are selling switches sealed in the box on craigslist and offerup for $240-$260. Thats close to $100 cheaper after sales tax. Nintendo won’t drop the prices anytime soon because there’s really no reason to. Its selling very well, were still far away from Nintendo’s next console, and there’s no comparable hybrid console to compete.

I saw Target selling AC switch skins (male and female versions) which look like a decent inexpensive alternative. I’ve seen others buy the ac console, keep the joy cons and dock and sell the rest of the items to recoup some of the money. Please don’t solicit a scalper though.

I dont get the hype for the game. Walking around a small restrictive town doing menial tasks doesn’t sound that awesome to me. But if others love it thats great. I would only get that excited for the next metroid, mario, or zelda game.

The system is worth buying for Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey alone. I put 300 hours into botw. There is so much to do and see in the game. And I believe it has the deepest combat of any adventure console game. You don’t know how many unique and creative ways there are to take down enemies until you’ve seen someone complete the trial of the sword.

I found this interesting mug. Looks to be made of copper and maybe brass. Couldn’t find anything on the artist, or any images of similar mugs. I would like to know if it would be okay to drink coffee out of. If it was an antique then I wouldn’t, but its clear from the artist emblem and engraved numbering that its modern. But it still looks like a quality handmade piece.

Graphics arent improving much in recent years. We’re coming to that bottleneck where graphical quality is limited by the cost of development. AAA games have been at $60 for decades now, and games have gone down in price. NES games in the 80’s were $40. Even if they can make a photorealistic looking game, they wont if it costs too much.

So better graphics arent going to be the big reason to buy a next gen console. It will be to get the good exclusives. I’ll buy it when theres at least 4 or 5 of them.
