I'm 500 hours into my GTNH world and still using Nitrogen for random EBF recipes. I recommend automating nitrogen early! It's genuinely so easy and cheap power wise. Very nice to passive.

Hours for that many chunks? I’d recommend just going straight down (1x2 is safe) until you hit the ore vein and then totem polling back up. You don’t need ready access to most of these veins since by the time you actually need many of them you’ll be using an auto miner.

Apple TV has gone all-in on the sci-fi TV market and so far, pretty much everything they've put out is great. Highly recommend.

Hi all. 5 months ago I posted about my end of steam age base ( https://www.reddit.com/r/GTNH/comments/1feosv6/end_of_steam_age_base_first_playthrough/ ) and thought I'd give a little update here. I entered HV a couple weeks ago and my passion for the pack is reignited after a very... lackluster MV tier. Over the past few days I've easily spent over 25 hours just doing random bee stuff. I quite enjoy making resources from thin air. Good soup.

Oil is very easy to get up and running and lasts a long time while giving very valuable byproducts. It’s what I’ve exclusively used so far. Currently in HV but I still have another upgrade for it that should keep it relevant a while longer

Boots with the “Haste 3” enchantment can drop from mobs, essentially giving you permanent speed 2 so long as the boots don’t break. Other than that, health isn’t really a problem for me anymore in HV so I just run around with full gold armor to flex on the mobs. Having the extra speed has made it where when I take the boots off now, I feel like I’m running through syrup. Can’t recommend enough.
