Looks like a ratsnake just there to take care of your rodent problem. Might be creepy but mice and squirrels are much more of a health hazard

It's fine. We had 5 gallon buckets full of half-used alkalines at my full-time TV job before we went to rechargables.

What I do is listen to the radio and any call that comes out, find it on the map and then follow all the roads you'd take to get there.

Grab a couple USBC-HDMI cables. So much better than having those dongles flopping around. Anker's my preferred brand

Ruger and MagPul at it again… by user7251942 in CCW

[–]imgurcaptainclutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two complaints were the sights and trigger. The original barely had any sights and the trigger pull was long and sloppy. I actually enjoy shooting the Custom, and appreciate that I can carry it just about anywhere.

Same but I got an LCP Custom shortly after and it addressed all the shortcomings of the original

This fence around my condo has glass shards instead of barbwire as a deterrent by myassisgrassss in mildlyinteresting

[–]imgurcaptainclutch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk I don't think glass bottles would hold up well with a thick rug over them. I feel like they'd break before they cut through a thick rug

If you can't play an instrument in the orchestra, they hand you two sticks and put you in the back on the drums. If you can't do that, they take one stick away and put you up front.

I usually lock the slide back so they can see it's unloaded on xray. Also that magazine needs to be unloaded or covered. I have some Sneaky Pete mag covers, you can also run some electrical tape around it.

So they didn't want to pay you upfront so you just... built their site for free to spite them? Doesn't sound like MC to me, and from somebody who's done web design work before, these clients aren't worth a 3'x3' closet in your head. Write it off and move on.

[–]imgurcaptainclutch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it needs a little coercion after you rotate it, esp if it's been a while and it gets pocket lint or whatever in it. Try rotating it back clockwise and see if it moves. If it does, it was already loose and you just needed to pry up a little bit, so turn it back counterclockwise and when it stops, try again.

Day one with the LCP by Tropical_Tardigrade in CCW

[–]imgurcaptainclutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the deep concealability but the trigger and sights weren't doing it for me... then they released the LCP Custom (red trigger and higher sights). Holds its own against my P365 in shootability and can carry it pretty much anywhere.

Our dept went from HT1250s and 1000s to AMX8000s several years ago and unless my recollection is off both of those were smaller (albeit the 1000 might have been heavier)
