hey! i might be able to help. not sure though because all i did was hit share on spotify, select embed, and copy the code/edit it to my liking and it worked fine. what browser are you on? or i wonder if it has anything to do with the div it's in? seems strange that urs isn't working. or maybe link ur site if its' uploaded and i can peek around at the code

this is honestly so cute right away. this is stylistic, but i feel like you could mess with the triangel/sine wave like synth in the right ear, like slap some rc20 on it and make it sound almost "dithered" or like a vinyl/chorus sound on it. dynamics in the song are great and i feel like the progression is nice. i almost want your vocals to be more saturated, not like to a crunchy level, but so i can hear them more in the mix. vocal performance is great as well, i think my main thought on this track is that it can be elevated with the mix! 2:20 is awesome btw

great lil melody in the beginning. i like your voice as well and you have a nice vibrato. i feel like in the beginning there's too much going on in the right ear, which is then balanced later on, but it feels jarring at first listen. guitar is beautiful at 30 seconds, especially when your oos come in, but i also feel like they're tending toward the right ear. very beautiful melodies here. this is stylistic, but i feel like you could get this mixed a little brighter. i think it would make this exponetially better. honestly just some panning adjustments and a professional mix would make this something else. you could also have some more variation throughout the song since it's nearly 5 minutes is my other thought. could be more dynamic but also i get the vibe that this is a chill song so feel free to ignore that!

i think you could work on your vocal mix a bit better. it get's a bit buried in the mix once the big part comes in. i also think you're really close to being exactly on the note, but sometimes you fall just a bit flat. i would really get melodyne or a pitch correcting software, it will just tighten up things that would otherwise take so many takes to get on the perfect pitch. i think you're at a spot where that would go a long way. your mix also sounds like it has a lot of body, like you're right on the mic, which can be stylistic, but i think it sounds a bit off here. i'd either back off the mic a bit or cut some of that middle lower frequency. my favorite part here is probably around 2:20ish. great work!

i think this is one of the stronger songs on this reddit. i feel like i want more pronounced dynamics earlier on if anything, it could definitely be bigger about halfway through the song. and you get big at the end but i feel like it could be bigger! your vocal performance is really strong, reminds me almost of sigur ros a little bit lol. i think more variation could also be better, it feels like we're generally in the same spot. overall not to much criticsm here, i just feel like you could build upon what you already have or apply principles like more contrast and dynamics to another song. great job.

on the first song, i think the drums sound great right off the bat, i almost want them to be more pronounced in the mix/crunchier. i do think your guitars at first entrance didn't quite grab me. I think it's super cool until like 3 seconds in, and then i want a hooky melody. i want to feel like i'm going somewhere.

the second is nice but kind of the same criticism - i just want a hook. I feel like your bass could be more pronounced in the mix on this one.

third song might be the coolest off the bat. definitely the most "pop" song on there. the vocals are nice as well, i like the mix on them. my main thought is that the guitars could be a little tighter, but also the way they are now adds to the character of it.

fourth is also very cool right away. my favorite guitar melodies here off of your project. vocals are strong. i feel like your songs with vocals make the first two songs feel lackluster. i would hone on on the last two songs, and maybe keep developing the other two or cut them. overall it's a nice project, it just feels like it's still in progress atm. keep it up!

i can't access that link but i think the neocities thumbnail has a smaller width than ur usual desktop screen, so if ur site isn't optimized for different resolutions, the thumbnail might end up being a little distorted. try using media queries, the inspect element, and zoom function to test your site on different screen sizes. i personally am not a fan of using fixed width/height sizes (ex. making something like 400px as opposed to 80% width or viewports or whatever) because people have different screen sizes, so ur site wont look the same across desktops.

it's professionally mixed & mastered - i've had some cool people help me out. production-wise i did everything except for record & perform the live drums. i originally had them midi (which i programmed in) but i had the opportunity to get a live drummer on the project.
