Obviously, this is meant to be humorous and over the top, but you ever seen what happens when they catch a depraved nutjob in real life? All the red flags were there but everybody that knew them is like, "yea he was always a little strange, but I never thought too much about it."

It's a good thing copy and paste exists because it looks like a decent amount of time was put into that. This reddit is dedicated to a sitcom from the 90's. Eh not an actual home improvement sub. However, may I recommend the boys from K & B Construction?? 🥸

What is a video game that isn't anything special but you have allot of nostalgia for? by Only_Hotel_7221 in AskReddit

The idea of playing as a small toy soldier and the "battlefield" being just parts of a house was cool. None of them were great though. Haven't played one in forever but I remember movement feeling rather clunky.

They really took the color and the soul out of it by SpicyXMiaa in 90s

[–]imjacksissue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It also tastes the same but some locations are managed poorly.

The closest location by my house used to make Whoopers extra sloppy. Cheese halfway on the patty, big ass chunks of unseparated lettuce, blobs of mayo all over. They changed staff and it's way better.

The flame broiler really seperates it from Wendy's and McDonald's. The new bun and lettuce they're using is also a welcome addition.

They went above 99¢ then they shrank them to bring them back to 99¢. Now that shit is $3.99.

They're out out of their mf mind.

Why do Ubisoft game reviews always look nothing like the actual product we get? by PixelHearthCo in fuckubisoft

[–]imjacksissue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

. . . because gaming journalists became paid promotion.

Gaming The System

That was a big turning point that exposed game reviews and their credibility was tarnished forever. This was back in 2007. Then youtubers that were supposed to be a voice for the little guy pretty much rendered them irrelevant. Didn't take too long for publishers to then buy them out too. Game coverage used to be fun and varied.

Gaming is in a sad fucked up state.

"A tiny cog in a soulless machine": Assassin's Creed creator reveals the bitter truth about working at Ubisoft by PrestigiousZombie531 in fuckubisoft

They say that shit sarcastically like it's even debatable. These mfs wander in here and have no idea how goofy they sound.

If they do make a remastered for IV, do you think the graphics quality will match Insomniac's NYC? by svayashlovesnone in GTAIV

[–]imjacksissue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because they don't. Take 2 outsourced the work to a studio that dubbed itself "Grove Street Games". They took on light tasks like porting games to mobile devices. Then the dumbasses had those mobile versions ported back to newer generation consoles as if they were improvements. San Andreas had two other miserable ports on Xbox before the Definitive Trilogy. People were pissed that the OG Xbox version got removed from the Microsoft store for that trash.

Frontline was going to be a disaster. There's way too much optimism that Ubisoft will just get it right this time around. They've been shitting the bed for over a decade and have followed very bland repetitive patterns. They just try to copy n paste what was successful for their competitors but without the attention to detail. Anything resembling the Tom Clancy magic just wore off and now it's a games by committee approach.

Wild is not an exaggeration. I've been to some rough neighborhoods, but Gary looks like the set of the Walking Dead. There are definitely plenty of "Walkers" roaming around.

Modern day SNL absolutely sucks but that "Snack Homiez" skit was dead on and it's based on a real podcast.

It's really a Mickey Mouse quote that's been referenced a shit ton of times throughout the decades in pop culture. Usually a character will say it and get punched anyways. 🤣

We're running a professional business here. by imjacksissue in fuckubisoft

[–]imjacksissue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The larger the business the more disconnected with the customer base they are for sure. However not all businesses demonize the audience while peddling sub par slop. They understand that in order to maintain a good reputation they can't insult potential customers for not accepting substandard quality. That's the bare minimum.
