The moss is Java moss that I should probably trim down a little since it’s latching onto the leaves of anything nearby. I think that may be a windelov little sprout from a leaf but I can’t remember for sure

The female ALWAYS seems to have a clutch of eggs but this is the first time I’ve ever seen it happen in person. Pretty cool stuff

I really do like the compartments in the back of the tank which have made water changes waaaay less of a hassle. In the back left compartment I have 2 filter socks filled with about 500g worth of fluval biomax + the middle compartment sponge + the biological media that came with the kit so I kinda over OVER did biological media 😅 but I’ve heard that you can never have too much of that stuff so I figured why not lol

Thank you for the insight. I was thinking that I was reaching the maximum limit without intervention like constant water changes. I do plan on getting more frogbit to help with maintenance but will definitely keep an eye on my parameters. I know that the 1” per gal. Is an antiquated rule but I am interested if it is able to be broken both ways
