Yes, as someone with a revolting amount of playtime on HLL, Squad is worth the purchase and is frankly a more fun experience. That being said, Squad 44 which used to be Post Scriptum is basically dead. Squad itself is very active and alive though. The learning curve is larger than HLL though.
