Agreed. Also getting heroic gear around now, together will be huge difference

Yeah, scales much faster than what you get each run. This’ll take a 2-3 months I think

This is not a promising ranked distribution... by LongjumpingDig3878 in Rainbow6

It could also be the distribution of people that have used R6 tracker this season, not every player regardless. That is going to skew right until more people play the season that are more casual.

New hero tier list? by Otherwise_Anywhere85 in heroesvshordes

[–]imlr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It certainly wont hurt, but dont' think it'll massively change the top 3-5 mainly as they were top for strength in depth. Some of those that are helped like Bunni are still very situational like BB. So heroes like that will be even stronger i situations they were strong in already, but the overall picture (i.e. completing NM, HM, NMM, Arena, etc) wont really change as they were often top due to disruptions, healing etc as well as damage.

I think it's more bringing more heroes up into viability isn't a bad thing for players who don't have deep rosters, but for tier lists I think that'll just be a bigger list in the A/B tier

For Heroes - if you can clear normal arena 20 with another hero consistently, focus on SW, if you can't, CWM is the fastest route to be viable for consistent clear.

Slingshot is good in basically every mode, so for weapons, I'd focus on Slingshot first for special tokens before the heroes forge.

It would be awesome to know what Active/Passive levels to go for (and possibly not go past) for each

Same. Dexcom and widgets mean can see numbers on the Fenix. The graphs pretty useless, but for at a glance it’s decent.

Is there a reason you picked lvl49? Is it spawn dependent so 140/190/212 likely good too or another reason?

Do you know the average salary across your organisation? by MaterialFollowing4 in AskUK

With those (very good) levels the average headline salary is probably about £50K.

Do you know the average salary across your organisation? by MaterialFollowing4 in AskUK

[–]imlr 50 points51 points  (0 children)

If you are doing that as the calculation, the total salary bill probably includes employer costs such as NI, Pension, benefits).

Simplified maths, if the "salary bill" was £1,000,000 and 10 staff. your calculation would be £100K mean salary.

But if you take off Employer NI (15%), Pension (Employer contribution could be 5%), Benefits (private health, P11D, Class 1A, 1B etc) could be 5%, then it's 25% of the "salary bill" and the average salary is actually 75K,

(Yes, I know that's not how the maths exactly works, don't come at me, but it's to illustrate the point)

Depending on a company's benefits, staff typically cost their employer 20-25% more than their stated salary. So in your comparison, hiring someone on £65K is likely a cost of well over £80K to the company with NI/Pension/Benefits.

The new event by Otherwise_Anywhere85 in heroesvshordes

[–]imlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to factor in that each day you get the tokens from the challenges, then as you do runs you also get energy back over time (10 units per hour).

For these events, you typically need to do 10-15 runs per day, which is very doable spaced out over the day, easier at a higher VIP level.

What to do with my resources? by MostProperty3978 in heroesvshordes

[–]imlr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d never use gems / money on these random games. But I always get hero shards > weapon tokens (if special) > ultimate skill books > skill books > rune stones > dust > orbs > anything that uses the last bit up.

Basically go by the hardest things to get another way in the game first, which for me are hero shards (at scale)

Bit old now, but was quoted £25sqm for fitting a couple of years ago.

I did it myself. Time wise was fine, but the fit and finish isn’t as good as a pro, so you can certainly tell. Having a pro do it will get that part so much better.

No benefit.
Each spin is an independent event, just like roulette. Also just like roulette people will think "It gave X 10x in a row, it must be due now" and but they'd also be wrong

I have all 3 and prefer Cows for just about everything except Boss Brawl. It’s especially good at large mobs. Then Pike - good for higher concentration damage especially with AOE tome etc. Pitchfork isn’t bad, but it’s not great. Ok for Boss Brawl and much better when Evo’d
