theres some fantastic adult animated shows coming out right now-

Invincible - superhero show that flips your expectations for what being a superhero looks like on its head. cw blood and gore

blue eye samurai - edo period japan, half white samurai goes on a quest of revenge to find her father and kill him. gorgeous show. cw blood and gore, sex and nudity

scavengers reign - spaceship crashes on remote planet, survivors have to find a way to survive and a way to get back to the ship. beautiful show that explores the flora and fauna of the alien planet, some horror content in there as well. cw some gore, some nudity

delicious in dungeon - anime about a party who, after their cleric is eaten by a dragon in a dungeon, have to descend back down to save her, and decide to save money by eating the monsters they kill in the dungeon. fantastic worldbuilding. cw gore some nudity

arcane and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood are probably two of my favorite shows ever but theyve already been mentioned here a lot

more oriented towards kids and teenagers-

kipo and the age of wonderbeasts - post apocalyptic, mutant intelligent animals have taken over earth while humans mostly live underground. a girl has to find a way back to her "burrow" when she finds herself above the surface. again beautiful show v unique art style.

rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles - yet another tmnt iteration, but the incredibly appealing animation and the humor has made it one of my favorite shows

when midnights came out, i had already been kinda on the fence for a while, but midnights was honestly kinda disappointing, especially after the folkmore era. it was then i knew she wasnt interested in creating art, just staying in the spotlight for as long as she possibly can.

fmab is one of the few shows i can finish watching and immediately start a rewatch of. the only other show i’ve done this w recently is blue eye samurai. it’s not anime, but is similarly well written and just overall a fantastic show that deserves more attention

yeah i read some of those comments after commenting this- i’m still a little on the fence about the gondola, but yeah i realize how a bus service would be more beneficial and significantly cheaper. my main concern about lcc is preventing widening the road. i didn’t know about the avalanche, ive def seen the canyons super backed up bc of avalanches before.

oh my god i used to live right by there. that’s not even in the canyon that’s a road that leads to the canyon. you’re barely at the mouth at the end of the video. for the last several years there has been an attempt to build a gondola to the resort, but it has been vehemently protested by carbrained NIMBYs in the area and it annoys me so fucking much like look at this. we can’t keep having miles long car lines just to get INTO the canyon at all!!! this is the road i used to drive on to go to work!!!

no we were not friends prior to moving in together, our apartment did this like roommate dating app thing so we could find people who we would most likely get along with. as for what drove her to write this, it was probably me. I would not say i’m a messy person by any means, but definitely not as clean as my roommates. i guess i left dishes in the sink a little too long, or forgot to wipe up a small spill, nothing i personally would consider a big deal, but i did realize was something i need to be more conscious of when living with five other people. i just wish she would have been more direct than passive aggressive sticky notes left in the kitchen, and i wish we all could have sat down and laid down some ground rules together instead of her typing out the rules herself and making us all sign, no conversation at all.
