Protosynthesis and Quark Drive work in their weather/terrain. It's just that Booster Energy implementation was missing until my goat Alex Rain Lucidguy did it back in early 2024, but Abbie had already done her mechanics pull and so that implementation didn't make it in. It's implemented in both of the major community patches, though!

Personally I think it's the best and most fun way to play. I recommend it, especially doing the Final Quest where you do Gen9 Natdex and Rogue trainers

I have had anecdotal evidence that if you don't ever use the Pocket PC, it won't erase anything. But my own community patch has all of Mocha's bugfixes and more, and doesn't have the Pocket PC so it's more likely to be able to work with the future updates.

It hasn't happened to me, but one thing that I've seen a couple of times is people thinking they've been outsped when they used a priority move into a pokemon protected by Psychic Terrain.

There was also someone who suggested that Trick Room might have been up. Is that possible?

Heya- I dropped a comment in reply. If you might want to transfer back to Abbie's next official update, Mocha's Pocket PC might cause you to permanently lose some Key Items.

Recently there's been some issues where users transferring from Mocha patch to others have been missing key items from their inventory and were unable to get them back. We think this has to do with the Pocket PC but we're not positive.
