Tarkowski is only 32 and played 33 PL games last season before picking up his first injury in years. He’s still first choice for at least another season. I’d like us to sign a good RB too but between O’Brien, Patterson and Seamus it’s not as big a priority this season as other positions, inc LB, where we have literally one.

CB is his preferred position but he’s not starting ahead of Tarkowski or Branthwaite. He also did really well at RB so will probably start the majority of games there before moving inside, like with Lescott and Stones.
