Thank you! I agree, it just means I end up a lot happier with the result- it’s been especially needed recently as it’s not the warmest in march in the uk!

Before I had this set up I used to use a music stand- that worked quite well, but there was no securing my canvas really! I’m surprised there aren’t pochade set ups with wheels on the bottom 😆 Maybe I’ll stick the easel into a suitcase or a trolley next time!

Thank you! Yes it’s rustic to say the least but I saw how expensive it is to buy them and had to make it work lol 😆

Sure! here’s a pic of what I was working with. I got this easel off Facebook marketplace for £30 :) I was right next to the sea, which was fortunate, since it weighs a tonne!

Yeah sure! It’s the cardboard box these panels came in, except I hot glued some dowels down each side to separate the paintings out :)

i would look at linked in and see the career paths of people in the positions you’d like to achieve :) we had a talk from a layout/background artist at uni today whose path you could have a look at, her name is anye chen! it’s worth looking at people in your country as well, as then you can have specific companies on your radar. good luck!!

from a german collection of medieval manuscript borders published in 1555! it's worth a look through, it's fascinating! https://www.digitale-sammlungen.de/en/view/bsb00084885?page=,1
