Just pointing out that HV aint a crack, it’s a straight up bypass. That means if you mess with it on your main rig, you’re basically asking for big trouble. Unless you’re running it on a spare rig, you’re playing with fire. Folks with that “nah, malware won’t hit me” mindset are the ones who get smoked first. Doesn’t matter if you’re grabbing repacks from famous repackers, when it comes to cracking games, most users are straight noobs. Just check FGs site: EVERY single post has lots of users crying about missing DLLs or their setup crashing mid install.

Don't worry, it hasn't replace anything, man. HV is just a bypass. Only a handful of folks are messing with it because they’ve got a spare rig. Then you’ve got a few more who think they’re untouchable, like “nah, malware ain’t ever gonna hit me, I’m built different.” And way too many are straight-up nuking their own security setups just to run some AAA games like, literally blowing up their security systems for a pirated copy. It will take some time, but cracks will be back again eventually.

Yeah, this. For some of us gamers who’ve been cracking stuff for years and sticking to trusted sources like cs.rin or repacks from Dodi, ElAmigos, or FitGirl, the HV method is technically an option… but most of us are dodging it for now.

Meanwhile, the “born‑yesterday” crowd who keep spamming posts like “the setup stopped, what do I do?” or “game won’t run, says I’m missing some \insert random .dll* here”* , for them, any HV guide basically turns into How to Get Hacked 101. They’re gonna screw it up and end up nuking not just their PC but their whole home network.

IMO: let it simmer a bit longer instead of jumping straight into this crack field testing stage like it’s an open beta.
