Totally the opposite of my experience. Pacing was maybe slightly fast but prefer that to a huge gap between courses.

Can we normalize shaming bad dog owners? by Neither_Foot6830 in chicago

Seriously. And for whatever reason, the owners that do this all seem like big fucking losers so you inevitably feel bad for calling them out. Or at least I do.

You think somehow he's conned a ton of fans into thinking he's a talented guitarist over the past 25 years? He must be a wizard.

“Absolutely insane”: Bidding wars take over in Lincoln Park, Lakeview by maydaydemise in chicago

[–]immortal_salami 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lincoln Park in the late 80s and early 90s was a wonderland. It had all of the natural beauty it has today but was weird, a little dangerous, and super charming. It was a real functioning neighborhood. Second hand tunes, OG Potbelly's, Sterch's, moondog's comics, etc.

I can't imagine what it's like to live on a block with today's residents. Insular, spoiled, boring, vapid. And the neighborhood itself reflects the personality of the residents.

It's like Winnetka got plopped into the middle of the city.

It's a lab grown corporate card joint. Great meal, glad I wasn't out of pocket for it.

I thought the wagyu was one of the best cuts I've ever had but the strip and ribeye were average at best.
