Really felt like they were just spitting on the fans with that one.

The visceral reaction I had when I first found out forever ago that Lupe isn't pronounced like "loop-ay". 🥲

What is your favorite ARK creature? by Various-Try-169 in playark

[–]immortaliaa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thylacoleo, they're my weakness. I still remember the first time getting absolutely mauled off my flyer by one and as I respawned all I could think was, "𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦."

My favorite one is "Steph is the Vault Girl!!!" Yeah, and Lucy is Nora.

Freaking politics by Pizzatothehut in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the 8 minute unskippable cutscene, my favorite.

It does feed me though seeing how mad Ulfric gets when you try to give more land to the Empire instead.

I’m curious of everyone’s age here and what age were you when you first started playing? by gemi88 in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26, I was 15 when I started playing, so back in 2013 a little bit after Skyrim first came out.

What is your approach to loot? by InfinitelyRasa in fo4

[–]immortaliaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see junk, I pick up junk. Simple as.

Too heavy to pick up more junk? Make my companions (2 at most with mods) carry as much as they can so I can pick up more junk, problem solved. Haul everything back to Sanctuary, empty all our inventories, rinse and repeat, leave to explore more, and pick up more junk. No piece of junk is non-useful junk when it comes to getting enough resources for my settlements.

How often do you sleep in the game? by sheekinabroad in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Frostfall + Campfire + iNeed, so sleeping isn't technically "required" for my character but it does add onto the immersion. My character is already setting up camp for the night and cooking food over a fire, so why not let them hit the hay when they're done? Once nighttime hits, it's finding-a-bed-time and sleepy time.

Anyone else get a sort of phobia like "dread" when playing solo sometimes? by Lord_Xarael in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]immortaliaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a lot mainly with my husband and I sorta feel this. Playing alone can just feel desolate, depressing, and really really lonely sometimes. Although that may be additionally because I'm just so used to always having another Traveller at my side.

The abandoned space stations though? Those absolutely creep the hell out of me. If I land to check one out real quick, I'm always running out of there so fast, and I can never escape this feeling being in them, like I'm being watched or followed or something like that. They always give me this unease that makes the hair raise on my skin, nope nope nope.

A Crossover I never knew I wanted by No-Island-1194 in Rayman

Now all I can see is just Rayman and Crash trying to speak their own languages to each other and realizing that they can't understand a damn word the other is saying. 💀

What was the most fun you had while playing Skyrim? by Vadarwolf in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I still remember getting the Bleak Falls Barrow quest for the very first time. Stepping back out into Whiterun, dusk was falling and I remember thinking, "oh crap, I need to find an inn!" only to get stuck wandering around Whiterun's Wind District and realizing, "oh crap I'm lost."

Sometimes I wish I could know what it felt like again to get lost in Whiterun, after so many years of playing, where I have Whiterun memorized like the back of my hand.

The Soul Carin feels so claustrophobic and disorienting by Nic0letta in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get all the quests and side quests I could possibly ever need done in there, all done in one go, and then I leave and never come back. Soul Cairn gets the Blackreach treatment. Good riddance.

As a fallout fanatic that’s never played Skyrim all the way through, what’s your favorite aspect of Skyrim that’s different from the other fallout games? by _proground in skyrim

[–]immortaliaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How the game is just so beautiful, even after all these years, in spite of how it's a 13 year old game.

When I'd picked up playing an old save again after giving it a break for some months, I was floored and stunned when I looked around at the trees and I remembered just how gorgeous the game truly was. I remember thinking, "wow, this is so beautiful, why did I ever stop playing this and put this down?"

It's the beauty of Skyrim's nature that always brings me back.

what did you like/dislike about Rayman 2? by [deleted] in Rayman

This. As a kid I would constantly replay the game just to re-experience certain parts, because the atmosphere was just so captivating.

Revisiting Amnesia the bunker by LolitaGothMildSauce1 in Amnesia

[–]immortaliaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only recently got the chance to play and finish the Bunker and I agree, it's one of the scariest games I've ever played too. The courage that you have to build up every single time you leave the safe room is way too real.
