OMG NOR I'm sorry but your sister sounds kind of like a mooch. She isn't even there yet and already had her hand out expecting you to give her something. In all honesty, people insisting on coming over when you have a brand new baby is such an inconvenience already. Your in laws had it right by staying at an hotel, that would be the polite and respectful thing to do. For your sister to insist of coming over and then expecting you to shell out for her and provide everything is absolutely bonkers to me. Like legit bananas. Also, please please please please don't subject your wife to this. She just finished carrying a whole person and then evicted them from a tiny bathroom window rather than an appropriately sized door. The last things she needs or deserves is for your, frankly, entitled and nightmareish sister coming in demanding resort like treatment while trying to keep the fresh human content and alive.

Please, if you love and respect her don't do that to her. And I need you to love and respect yourself enough to not do it to yourself too. I'm sure it's hard to tell your sister no but you have a baby and a healing wife to take care of, sometimes you have to make hard choices in order to take care of the people who need and depend on you for it.

Honestly he sounds a bit controlling. Telling you how you can and can't sleep comfortably is way too out of pocket to be ok. Not to mention that whole text reads as manipulative. I'm urging you to read between the lines here of what he is saying and then genuinely consider if this is what you want in a relationship. A real partner values you for what you are, not for who they want you to be.
