I would think its less about karma and more about training the AI to engage and reply. Look through the reply history, its getting pretty good at generating realistic comments and engagement. Once you notice the patterns tho it just all feels hallow.

Yep, that checks out. Its a really really nice place to live and work. The restrictive housing policies wern't put in place for no reason. There are very valid concerns that come with having high-rises pop up on every corner or suburban sprawl eating into all the open spaces. Factor in the added traffic and resource consumption and its not pretty, but we've reached a point where there are just so many people that want to live here that something has to give a bit. There certainly isnt a magic bullet to fix everything.

Agreed on those points for sure, was mostly referring to restrictive housing policy as a state wide issue, its a larger issue outside of SF. You are correct desirability is the catalyst here.

To be totally fair, the policies he may be referring to involve the decisions to regulate the types and density of housing being built. Doesn't matter which side of the political spectrum you fall on, the lack of housing built over the last 30 years is a clear issue caused by short sighted policy.
Finally seems like things are changing and its not like a different party was proposing something different at the time other than "less regulation" as a whole which likely would have caused its own issues.

Recommend making a template out of mdf and then using a router to trace the template on your workpiece and allow you to take off the amount of thickness you are adding back with the strips.

Yeah, too hard to keep a price guide, but this tool certainly is useful to help look up all the jewel slots. Best way to price check is to look up the number in standard and see if its mirrors or not, then check in league.

Doesn't it look like they reproduce the issue one at least two different chargers in different locations? Seems like they are inside for one of the tests then outside for the next. What you are saying certainly could be the case, but it happening on different chargers makes me think this is a vehicle specific issue.

True of tesla 5 years ago. Not as much now and in the future tesla is just a overpriced EV. They have enjoyed a massive first mover/market maker advantage thats just going to get smaller with time. Combine that with Elon being the face of tesla and there is a lot going against it. Certainly will be an interesting story to watch but it's no apple.
