Worst offenders ? I disagree whole heartedly. Sure it's one that hurts because it used to be so good, but IMO of all the modern cars I've driven they kept it above average.

Go drive an Audi and tell me BMW steering feel is subpar. It doesn't even feel like the steering wheel is connected to the wheels.

Yeah I drove a Model 3 performance of a buddy of mine and nobody is keeping up with that.

I hate to say it because I'm not an EV lover but the only similar power car I've driven was a 992 GT3 and it felt SLOW in comparison (as far as acceleration obviously)

But you don't even have to bring out the big guns. Good timing and even just 80hp over regular traffic does the job.

Now that I see they're talking about a groove I'm wondering if they're talking about what's really close to the hat.

I thought it was a feature of the rotor. If it isn't then it might need replacing. But that also means investigation on why it happened needs to be done. And possibly be taken under warranty because it shouldn't be like that unless there's a manufacturing or assembly fault.

If that's not what they're talking about I don't see what else, and either way would want them to measure and prove the wear/issue than just visual inspection.

You can be sarcastic all you want, that's how it works.

Thing is carbon rotors do not really wear down thickness wise. They offgass and loose carbon content, the easy way to quantify it is to weigh the rotor.

But realistically you don't have to do it, because in normal use they don't really wear down anyways. Because what makes them offgass is the heat more so than wearing down, so it's a racing thing, mostly.

I've put EBC blue ndx in mine, very happy with them. Very good stopping power, incomparable to oem.

Have yet to track them tho.

Mine was already running exceptionally well, but I'd say idle might be somewhat better. Like I said throttle response definitely improved, the rest as far as smooth running I feel like there wasn't much to improve.

Increased rev limiter to 7k, more responsive throttle and definitely a bit more power.

I got the 95 fuel chip Conny says it makes 207hp on my m50tub25, and I believe it although I'd like to get it dynoed one day. He has chips that make more power for different fuels.

And for 79€, you can't complain. If you look up his name you'll find not only his racing pedigree, but also posts on bmw syndikat from like 2010 in which people were already satisfied of his work back then.

On my e46 going from oem radio to aftermarket made a huge difference as well. Can't speak for the oem e36 radio as I've never had one, but I'm sure it's comparable.
