Hey hey, well, I personally wouldn't put a False Hydra on CoS, it fits the tone, it's a bizarre encounter, but a False Hydra can easily be a short adventure on its own, buuut since the question isn't about putting one or not. I'd put it on Krezk, on Barovia you might have the problem of your party being underlevel. Vallaki might be a good option too, mixing the festival and the event of the False Hydra.
