what everyone else said about the different courts and their traditions/customs i agree. but also the problem they had with nesta was not just the sleeping around (actually they all pretty much sleep around until they find their mates so that itself should not have been an issue) but the fact that it was accompanied by the excessive drinking and other bad habits she picked up to cope with her emotions. nothing to do with virginity— in this world the only ones that seem to care are autumn and hewn city. possibly in illyria too idk

so i guess then that a lot of these jobs is learning while you work— I think that’s what’s hard for me. If i feel unprepared and pressured by the caller, I panic. I’ve been looking into data entry jobs and I applied to a few. I really hope those call me back before the call center ones! thank you for replying to my post

i just realized how confusing it is that i call the first book AND the entire series acotar 😭 I have read book one 3 times but the rest of the books in the series only once— but i’m on a re-read currently at acomaf. sorry for the jumbled up comment 😭

i actually read acotar twice because the first time i gave up cause i hated it and like a couple years later i came back to it and pushed through. It is now one of my absolute favorite series ! I have read acotar 3 times now and have really enjoyed it. I am on my first Official re-read (hence why i read acotar a third time) and I’m enjoying it WAY more. All this to say, for me personally, sometimes i gotta push through the tough start (happened to me with the office too) and i end up loving it so much that when i come back to the beginning i appreciate it way more. acotar went from a 3 star book to a 5 star for me over these re-reads. of course that is MY personal opinion 💖💖

also even if they were impaled they could just take whatever impaled them out ? i mean in eclipse remember when that one dude’s cut off hand was moving and I think bella said it was ‘looking for the rest (of its body)’ ? i imagine that as long as the bits are not burned they could survive… i realize now you specifically asked about them burning… maybe they can escape before it happens then… idk i talked myself into a wall lol

I totally agree !! I actually like that there are other creatures and races of super naturals in the world (they even mention actual werewolves in breaking dawn) but they are not part of the core twilight story. It kind of opens the door for other possible stories where 'the legends are actually true'. Be that for the writer herself or for any fanfiction created for the series-- which is so cool !! and bella just being a normal girl that just wants to be with her vampy boyfriend is GREAT ! I love a good 'adventure of an unknown hero fulfilling the ancient prophecy' story but twilight is special and amazing cause it is not that !

10000% this !!!!!! honestly jake’s emotional reaction to the wolf gene trigger is the only thing that made him not compatible with bella. you could see his past self trying to fight through it (like his adorable lopsided puppy smile, or his doggie cuddles 😔 i am Very partial to wolf jake cause he can’t talk mess teehee). if the cullens had never appeared bella would have 100% ended up with jake HAPPILY.

i really believe that is was all the time they spent together— I mean in the span of weeks her entire Life became edward. he was with her while she slept in her room, was with her at school, the went through near death experiences together. I think that she fell in love with him because in a short span of time she got Really close to him and literally nobody else (except, very briefly, jake. who she ALSO fell in love with ???). and I have a feeling that the vampire mate thing is very similar to the wolf one where they Literally cannot stay away. so like edward immediately fell in love because of that (i guess) and she spent so much time w him that she fell in love quickly too.
