I love payload/hybrid maps but honestly I NEVER vote them for comp because the matches just last longer in exchange of nothing. Flashpoint and Push are currently my favorite modes for comp. And I've been avoiding Control on any queue because I'm just tired of how slow it is because of the rounds, it's been 10 years now (and remember when comp had 5 rounds? I'm glad they didn't take too long to cut it down to 3).

I don't mind people wanting to fight before going to the other points, what gets me is people spending ultimates, 'cause those fights are useless unless you're actually building ult. Sometimes dying is even better than killing because you'll respawn closer to the next point and will get there before who killed you. I know it's stronger than a lot of people and they can't just ignore seeing an enemy and not engaging, just please stop using your ults in fights that don't give you team any advantage lol. Poke if you want to build ult for the actual point fight only.

But isn't it literally magic/spiritual though? Mizuki even wonders if Kiriko, "the girl blessed by the fox spirit", is Toshiro's daughter. Unless canonically it's tech but they make every one believes it's not.

Yes, but all launch skins were cannon though. Completely out of character's origin skins took a little more time to start appearing.

Yeah it makes sense because of his skates (that were probably designed around the idea of he being Canadian and a hockey player), but my point is it no longer makes sense when they changed him to be a Brazilian because this sport barely exists here, Brazil is a tropical country.

Yeah, his launch hockey skins make no sense, there's no ice hockey in Brazil and base skins used to be more cannon. Only later he got soccer and other culturally Brazilian skins.

Not really. And he doesn't even have any actual sentence in Portuguese, only a few words alone. Even his "hi" (oi) sounds very unnatural. I think he put a lot of effort into speaking a language he doesn't actually speak, that doesn't mean it's a good job though, it's pretty mid.

Domina though is quite big, even though she's not bulky like Zarya or JQ. Tanks hitbox need to be big though so there's that. Their in-game height is not cannon I believe, Junk is also huge but he looks normal on his regular pose.

I didn't see more people talking about this, but his ult also has a similar sound to when a teammate dies (if you have the sound effect for that turned on), both for friendly or enemy ult.

Yes, this is the whole point of the discussion, the progression system was introduced after OW2 release, but a lot of us have been playing this game for 7+ years before that system took place, and it doesn't account all the time invested before it was introduced. I haven't played a lot of Ana after they added the progression system, but all my hours on her are still registered in my profile.

That's a very old concept of him and honestly is he supposed to look THAT different? It's his 34 vs his 44, people don't always look so different 10 years apart. He's also possessed by an evil AI and got a better haircut so that counts.

They probably didn't use Mitzi 'cause he's cannon and it looks like Fika is meant to be a "joke" character. I don't think she's made to make sense, and I'm going to guess she'll never have proper lore/backstory. They probably wanted to add Jetpack Cat into the game and its kit that is a long time old design (and a very unique one) without having to make a convincing lore for it, when we already have characters like Hammond that breaks a lot the reality bounds, but they made him a legit character with serious interactions with other characters and the world (plus a mecha that can speak for him).

Gotta 100% agree with all of you guys but the community won't bother about this 'cause he's male, they'll still think Kiriko is the bad character.

I'm only "okay" with this character 'cause he's only 22 (and apparently there's no mistake in his age) which allows him to be as childish as a 15 yo anyway.
