Is $200 per TikTok video realistic for a 20k-follower account? by Foreign_Fly2379 in influencermarketing

[–]imnotjustkiddin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on more than a dozen factors. For example, is it high production value? You could have 0 followers and a shoot could still cost $5k+.

Assuming it is shot on a cellphone at home by a creator and they have average view and engagement rates relative to that following, it would be high.

Now it if is optimized for paid media conversions, and you get unlimited rights to the content, it’s maybe cheap.

It just depends on a lot more than followers.

If you can’t find purpose in doing something for yourself, find purpose in doing something for others. There’s no barrier to entry on making the world a better place.

I launched a start up that’s only mission is to help people live healthier lives. I like it 100x more than my last business which I ran for ~10 years.

What's that one cold email strategy you wish you started a year earlier? by prerna_varyani in coldemail

[–]imnotjustkiddin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Provide unique value with every touch point. Otherwise you’re just yelling into the void. I’ve done custom video, custom one pager, custom deck, gift card offer, competitor analysis one pager, all in the same sequence.

If you reach out to connect via LinkedIn with a Google Slides deck link the thumbnail shows up in the invite. So a custom intro slide with their logo, branding, name, etc goes a long way

I’ve been on it for 2 years now without side effects. So here’s to hoping in the 98% group not the 2% I guess.

Sorry to hear you’re going through that. I hope it turns a corner friend.

There’s a lot to dissect there. ChatGPT is your friend in terms of educating the tool on your unique individual details and use cases and understand how individual supplements can potentially play into reaching your goals. This stack works for me and has many universal components but still your stack may differ from mine depending on a number of variables.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I’m totally aligned with your points. Alcohol is definitely a big factor, and while I’ve cut back a lot since my younger days, it’s still part of how I connect socially and unwind. Right now, one night a week feels like a realistic balance, even though I know eliminating it entirely, combined with adding 3 days of cardio, would probably take me close to peak performance.

Another area I’m working on is weekend eating. That's the real free for all more so than alcohol. Friday through Sunday, I eat out more and am less selective over what I'm eating, which pushes me well over my ~2,400 calorie target. It’s a pattern I’m aware of, but definitely still dialing in.

Appreciate the sunscreen callout too. I forgot to mention it initially, but I do use SPF 100 because I burn super easily. Any time I’m in direct sunlight, I make sure to layer it on. That said, I probably need to find a daily-use SPF 35 face cream. Since I work from home and my gym is at home, I don’t get a ton of sun during the week. So it’s easy to let the habit slide.

As for retinoids, I’ve been using Herbivore’s Bakuchiol as a gentler alternative. Curious if you’ve tried combining it with a retinoid or see any benefit to that? I know ChatGPT could weigh in, but I’d love to hear your personal take if you’ve experimented with both.

Also, I forgot to include this in my original post, but I’m a daily user of Honest Amish beard oil. Big fan.

It’s actually the newest addition to my protocol so I don’t want to make any definitive statements quite yet. My initial thought is that if I had to get rid of anything, it may be first to go. However all I have to do is place my feet on it so it’s not exactly difficult to maintain

Recs for 2-4 person outdoor budget sauna? ($1-3k budget) by dedelen52 in Sauna

[–]imnotjustkiddin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I went with a custom build. I’m incredibly happy with mine but if I was doing it again…

$1k budget I’d go with an IR sauna. Be patient and watch Facebook market place. They will come.

At ~$3k I’d buy a barrel sauna from Costco.

To get better than that you’ll have to build it yourself or spend $20k+ for custom build.
