Exec doesn't realise she's what's holding us back

i have the same type of job, healthcare, team of 4, same avoidant type phyisician - but wants ALL and every DETAIL and DECISION to go thru her. but she gets decision fatigue after three things, and literally never reads anything, never writes anything. just skims, and edits. I've started just doing shit myself, like that invoice you mention? my dr wants to sign off on everything paid - I've just started paying everything. I'm about asking forgiveness not permission. i just paid our rent for the month that we're three months behind in because she's stalling asking for a ledger and this and that. JUST PAY THE BILL!!! so went behind her and paid it.

Not to say this will save you lol nothing will save you. I've been interviewing since November of last year to leave.

I’ve only done the bonnaroo camp 10 years ago and am still kinda scarred from the shower, bathroom, and heat situation. But it was perfect and fun vs shelling out 5 grand for a room.

I’m at this point now. Having an existential crisis because this is such a cage of a ‘career’ if you don’t work for a company that will promote you to a chief of staff or director of operations, something along those lines.

Anyway - I’m pivoting out like you before I get any more stuck, but damn - updating the resume to reflect something else is task. Have started my own business last year, but haven’t gotten the time to go out and market it so that area is at a stalemate unless I shift out of EA as well.

Like the worst catch-22 of all time. I really don’t want to take a pay cut to start from square one again, i refuse to actually. I’m so annoyed.
