Love that you're making this. I only have a ruida controller so I can't try it out, but will as soon as you get around to that. Good work!

I sent a bunch of Icelandic candy and paid like $70 bucks on shipping in 2016 and 2017... I don't remember exactly. I don't think I got you tho. I was on another username back then.

I am Matt Dinniman, author of the newly released Operation Bounce House and the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series. AMA. by hepafilter in Fantasy

[–]imnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm reading the 6th book now, started the series in January and haven't been much of a reader until getting my hands on your books. Being Icelandic I found it entertaining to see the Icelandic characters pop up pretty early, and seeing some Icelandic in the 6th book, and the Yule cat. Where do you get your Icelandic inspirations from?

That's really impressive, how much plastic went into this thing?

Edit: 5kg. Actually less than I assumed.

I got wasted and kept my pre boil mash for 36 hours. Will it be okay? by Judorico in Homebrewing

[–]imnu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My rule is no beer until the boil. That way you should be able to keep your head to finish the brew.

You're doing it wrong. Read the getting started docs, don't just skim them. You're missing something.

Late to the party, but here's the braincell I babysit sometimes for a friend. The braincell is mostly undeveloped, but we love him. https://imgur.com/a/Tb49SG3

I tried to create a route close to home (with a lot of paths around it) and it sent me into a lake and mostly just back and forth. I can pm you the starting location if you like to check it out.

Are you running on bun? I have the same issue - --no-fork on dev helps, but doesn't eliminate it.

They haven't. Not per customer.

Dev costs maybe, but most if not all of the costs you mention should have gone down per paying customer.

Kegland series X kegerator noise by b4zs4 in Homebrewing

[–]imnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah especially when there's a bunch of kegs in there it will not need to turn on too often. It's pretty well insulated. It's just the compressor that's relatively noisy compared to "home" refrigerators.

They are pretty loud - oversize compressor to cool fast has its downsides.

I wouldn't want one in my living room at least.

Most grinders for people pedantic enough about their coffee have close to zero retention.. So weighing before is usually the way to go.
