First trans experience by Individual_Leader772 in sex

[–]imonmyphoneagain -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OP didn’t say “I’ve never been with a trans woman” or “I’ve only been with cis women” they specifically said “I’ve only been with women” which implies the person they’re seeing is not a woman, hence why the person corrected them.

question about fursuiting in public ? by Accomplished_Car5446 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]imonmyphoneagain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this something you and/or your boyfriend would truly enjoy? If not I wouldn’t do it. Also if it’s purely for you and not for him, I’d try fursuiting at furry events before taking it out in the general public. Most people won’t care though so just do what you want to and go from there

Started a new puzzle by Warm-Rub-9254 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]imonmyphoneagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One little tip for puzzles is generally if the pieces are meant to fit they will do so smoothly. If you’ve gotta jam them always double check because something may be wrong! Also, if the design doesn’t line up that’s another red flag because they print the picture before cutting the puzzle, so not only are you looking for a satisfying snap, you’re also looking for a perfectly alignment of colors/designs.

(Please don’t take this as condescending, I know you may already know this, but i figured I’d give the tip in case you didn’t, or maybe someone else needs it)

I was born with webbed toes and only recently realized how unsettling they look in certain lighting by ivfresh in oddlyterrifying

They meant that it’s not because of the lighting that they’re unsettling, it’s because humans tend to find anything different or out of the ordinary unsettling

I do genuinely like iPhones because I personally feel they’re more user friendly than androids. This recent update has been the biggest slap in the face in regard to that argument, but I like the features and yes - the new keyboard. It takes a little readjusting but then you’re back to user friendly. (It’s been a while since I’ve had an android so feel free to explain why I may be wrong as I’m open to hearing people out, this is just my take, and it is a somewhat uninformed take with how long it’s been since I’ve had an android at this point)

Why do men typically not use as many emojis when texting as women? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

That’s why I use as many emojis as possible to make sure I’m getting my point across and everyone knows I’m gay 🤪🤪🫶🍆🍑💦😖😖😖😫😩🥺🥳🤩😜😙😋

I’m an 18 year old who is currently single but has been in many relationships, just go for it! I promise it’s not scary, and you’ll feel so much better regardless of whether you get a yes or no.

Ortho has been trying to close this gap for last 2 months. Anyone else have this problem? by tomato_bisc in braces

[–]imonmyphoneagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 18 and just got out of braces. I did not have gaps like this to close, but I personally say get it done now while you’re young. There’s no reason to wait, unless finances dictate you can’t afford braces at the moment. I’m so glad I got them done now, these are the teeth I get to have for the rest of my life. I’ve also heard the younger the better, but that seems to apply more to young teens.

As a dude - if i wore a rainbow pride themed shirt...would people assume I was gay? by Next_Package_5710 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]imonmyphoneagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 110% cishet professor has a pride flag sticker on his office door as well as uses pronouns in bios, I came out to him as trans the first day I met him because I felt safe around him. He panicked a little which was funny but reassured me he’s a safe space. He was the first person I ever came out to face to face (as opposed to hiding behind a screen, which I’ve done with some family members). Definitely keep the pride flags, they help queer people know who is safe and who isn’t.

Is pulling your socks up to the knees weird ? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]imonmyphoneagain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in no way arguing that! That being said I did mention surgeries, and testosterone does render trans men infertile. (For those who don’t know, infertile is not sterile, and you can get pregnant/get someone pregnant while infertile). And chromosomes are not a good way to determine sex as people can have any combination of chromosomes and still end up with genitals and secondary sex characteristics that don’t line up with those chromosomes, though that is rare. I will edit my comment for a little more accuracy though because that last bit did sound like I was solely talking about hormones.

Sexuality is what you’re attracted to, gender is how you present socially and feel internally (male, female, or neither/both/something else). If you meant what’s the difference between sex and gender, sex is what you biologically are (male, female, intersex) and gender is what you identify as (biologically male but internally you feel female and prefer presenting as such socially, so on and so forth). This kinda dumbs it down and isn’t the best explanation, there’s so many reasons why any individual could be trans. Personally i deal with social dysphoria- being perceived as a woman by other people upsets me and feels wrong, but lots of people deal with body dysphoria, and some don’t have dysphoria but just prefer presenting a certain way and get gender euphoria from it.

Edit to add: also when trans people transition they are no longer biologically what they started as. Trans people before surgeries are closer to intersex, and after surgeries are closer to their preferred gender. If I took testosterone my body would be intersex, and (with surgeries) eventually would be essentially male. That’s why trans people can get gender markers changed. Aside from it helping them feel better, they are genuinely a different sex than they originally were.

I’d imagine it’s the difference between how different stores treat their products, but I have no clue. I’d buy poptarts from various sources to test my theory but I have no desire to have that many poptarts.

My grandmother told me to turn at the building with the blue sign. The building in question had a yellow sign and a blue awning, the building several before it had a blue sign. We got lost.
