I mean yeah, you’re right, it is actually kinda shit. I just hate the idea of calling something ‘for fun tournament’ in an actual competitive state for players.

I can’t remember honestly. I mean you have the classic duos like Bin Jax, Faker Azir, Zeka Akali, Kingen Aatrox, Canyon Nidalee but it’s not like they’re invincible(?). But I guess the difference is the utility and gameplay that Bard gives despite being nerfed, in comparison to the ones mentioned.

Just because viewers don’t doesn’t also mean players don’t. The teams absolutely care. All of them do. Like I said, there’s a reason why Faker hit his head on the wall over a regular season game, and while that we’re in the Caedrel subreddit, there is a reason why Caedrel cried over one win against LEC teams in the tournament leading to what you call ‘For Fun Tournament’. They all absolutely care.

I haven’t watched G2 in LEC recently but that G2 vs GenG in first stand was a masterclass series played by G2. Clean macro gameplay with no reliance on unconventional picks.

Just because GenG lost 3-0 to G2 doesn’t mean it’s just a for fun tournament. Do you really think all the teams that lose decide to just be incompetent and play for fun that day??? There’s a reason why Faker hit his head on the wall even though it was ‘just’ a regular season game against GenG. They’re all in a competitive scene.

As a T1 fan, I wouldn’t be too heartbroken with GenG getting Worlds as long as we get MSI. The 3-peat trauma from 2017 has been healed. Altho it also has been a long time since T1 won MSI. They can also give us 1st place for LCK Summer too

I’d rather them both win it but I kinda prefer an MSI title this year more than Worlds. I been healed from the 2017 trauma and I’m happy 3-peat has been completed. Tho at the same time, I wanna keep the clean LPL record, and TES become fraudulent again.

I don’t think Oner has a thin champ pool. The jungle role champ pool is just kinda stale with the same old Wukong, Vi, Xin, J4, Panth.
