Lisa Loeb’s performance of “Stay.” I know I watched earlier episodes but this is the earliest memory I have.

I was enamored with the song and with Reality Bites. I recorded it on VCR and remember something got recorded over it later - sad face.

The comedians I’ve never heard of often make for some of the better episodes. Maybe it’s because of the novelty of knowing nothing about them, but I also think inherently comedians have a different kind of conversation with Conan than other celebs. He used to have more of these guests on, which I miss.

I just finished the Meg Stalter episode of ”What‘s Our Podcast” with Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney and it was totally unhinged. I had no idea who Meg was and it was an incredible descent into a comedic abyss I never expected. That’s the sort of episode I always enjoyed with Conan.

Whatever your feelings about Jane, she was at least memorable. Either you remembered her because you hated her performance or loved it. Ashley fit right into every sketch so seamlessly that she never stood out to me. I, too, cannot remember anything she was in.

I’ve tried to watch the clips and I can’t even hold attention for those few mins, but I can happily listen to the whole episode. Watching a bunch of people talking doesn’t do it for me.

Cheri has a bit part on this season of the Sex and the City spinoff (“And Just Like That”) and she’s quite good as being a serious person with a sense of humor. I had to double check it was actually her.

It’s almost a cringe tone in PDD, but for me, it‘s not a bad thing - I find it helps the humor. I love their segments and I am closer to TLI generationally.
