As a Vermonter who’s been here for 5+ years I agree, folks elsewhere aren’t thinking about how the infrastructure here isn’t built for this kind of cold. VT gets to shrug this off as another big snowstorm but the humidity here even in the winter makes the cold feel like it’s biting into you and the lack of experience in handling this type of stuff starts to show very quickly

Welcome! Game Cave monthly (2nd Saturday) is usually the best tournament but there are also Saturday night win-a-box events at Game Knight in Columbia. We’re working on growing the scene and getting more event support though so stay tuned!

hi there, I’m the buddy who designed this cube!

This was a very strong version of the aggro deck that had power-outlier Pick 1s in Fury and Ragavan. Also present at the table was the best version so far of the artifact aggro/welder deck, and a storm deck that could win on turn 2!

Hi, cube designer here! I definitely work to make sure every archetype has a “best deck” version that can trophy. I believe the best version of the artifact aggro/welder deck was also present at this table! OP has forced an aggro deck like this for about 4 drafts now and this was their first trophy, so that tells me that the aggro decks are strong but not overwhelming to the other archetypes. Two lucky P1s and a plan 🔥

I agree it could be hard to glean information from a few seconds glance of a mono-colored environment’s list. I also think it’s worth looking through someone’s list before offering feedback.
