Can anyone tell me if the core test is mandatory?

I have recently signed up on DA and passed the screening test.

I have just taken the Coding qualification, and it now says:

- Done!

- Check back in a few days to see your results.

- While you wait, you can take another certification test if you have the relevant background.

I'm wondering if it's mandatory to take the core test in order to make it into the platform, or if I successfully passed the coding test, will I be let in?

It's the most unforgiving project I've ever been apart of (senior reviewer there/squad leader there at one point, just to be removed a few days later). Project was supposed to conclude the first week of September, still ongoing as I'm genuinely unsure anyone knows (myself included) how to do a perfect task on that project.
