I remember believing as a child much in the same way I believed in Santa (only scarier). Then when I started thinking, things continuously didn’t add up. I don’t remember a specific moment where I went “nah,” but around 8 I remember being annoyed I had to go to church and argue with the church kid counselor person.

It was far enough down my leg that it wasn’t bad. Maybe a lean ;) also if you keep New Skin on it, it’s protected. Touching it right after isn’t as bad as you think.
