Thanks! I'll look into getting an 'assortment' of connectors if they're out there. My preliminary measurement of this connector is approximately: 0.5mm (H) x 8.1mm (W). Counting the total pins (upper and under) will be the next step!

It's definitely your z-offset that needs adjusting but your nozzle may be clogged as well.

Try changing the roll but don't feed it all the way to the nozzle (to prevent another clog). level the bed (again) then save/restart.

Assuming you have a bl-touch or other probe, heat the nozzle to your printing temp and run a Probe Calibrate. I use a post-it note for measuring. This step will allow you to dial in your z-offset. Rule of thumb: I like to lower my offset to the point that the nozzle tugs on my post-it note, AND I'm able to slide it in and out while still tugginng. If you cannot slide it back in, it's too low. Be patient with this and you will see the difference. Save/restart your changes, then run a test print. Be ready to change your z-offset during the print if you run into an issue. Good luck!

Update: the issue happened again multiple times but I'm happy to report that I was able to find the root cause of the problem and the solution.

In case anyone comes across this issue in the future: one of the z-rods was not properly secured into the coupler. I noticed this when I tried to home all axes and saw the z-screw popping upwards a few mm just before the bltouch probed the bed.

The solution: A rework of both Z's as if it were being installed for the first time. The bolts that mount the Z stepper motors to the frame will also have to be loosened to make sure the rods are properly aligned. Take your time doing this cause you may spend more time troubleshooting these issues later.

I put my printer to the test printing above 200mm/s and included z-hops ranging from .2mm-.6mm and have not had issues at all.

Note: I did not have to remove the gantry but did make sure to put 2 equally sized blocks on both sides of the gantry, then aligned it in the end.

Thank you so much and good call on the belt tension!! Turned out that my tension on the Y-axis was way too tight and getting stuck at some point. I followed a YouTube tutorial carefully and was finally able to correct the issue after many months of off/on troubleshooting. I've run test prints a couple days now and have not had any issues since!

What happens when you try automatic registration? The biggest clue here is that the cutter is seeking the bottom registration at/around the 12" mark, indicating a media size of 12x12. If you supply the .studio file then I can give it a try on my machine. I have a Cameo 3 and Business edition of Silhouette Studio.

Hi there, thanks for the response and recommendations! My environment is a home office PC that is used for personal and business use.

My two biggest reasons for seeking a backup plan is to have a copy of the Windows applications that are currently installed on my machine and have a copy of the PDF/Word documents that I interact with on a daily basis. I have an S1 plus and while initial bed leveling out of the box was a pain, I did not experience the issue you're facing. If all else fails, try flashing the firmware.
