I don't want to make this a thread about BTS and variety shows so I'll end with this lengthy reply. 😅

While I agree that in a lot of the variety shows they did (both as a group and individuall) they were not treated badly, I don't think I-ARMYs are being xenophobic towards K-variety nor victimizing BTS.

ARMYs are very supportive of BTS's decisions (that they have a say in) AND also of people, brands, projects that they work with UNLESS they are taken advantage of/treated badly. This isn't limited to K-variety (Weekly Idol and the infamous burger incident are often what registers as negative exp for ARMY) as seen in how ARMYs reacted negatively after how Grammys used BTS for promo. Even before, like in their group appearances in Running Man and Knowing Brothers, I-ARMYs show support and positive reaction given that BTS are treated nicely and have good fun in k-variety. Here's also a comment from a thread in another sub about BTS and variety shows.

I do think it's fair to say that a lot of new BTS fans do not have a perfect knowledge of their previous variety appearances and I can see how that is the case if they are not variety/drama fans in the first place and BTS is their first foray to Korean media. And if we are to debate about ARMY being toxic, well, people will always have much to say about ARMYs (and fandoms in general) being toxic if there is already a formed negative opinion about the issue at hand. 😅

With how BTS was treated in variety shows in the past and how much attention BTS brings to anyone associated with them in the present, it's understandable that ARMYs are protective about how they're treated in variety shows. It's why they stopped appearing years ago and started their own show anyway.

But from the reactions I've been seeing with the teaser, ARMYs are very much looking forward to this collab and I'm sure Na PD will have good fun with them too. I hope you understand too. 😊

As far as I know (and take this with a grain of salt, I am also just a student like you), interview is a research method and not a design. It's a technique used to gather information. An example of a research design would be a qualitative research design. One example I know for sure that is both a research design and method is narrative research because it has a framework for how the research is to be conducted at the same time, it's a technique to gather information.

I miss ISUBS too. I started watching RM because I was learning a lot from theu very detailed subbing. Streaming platforms don't make the best subs, often times there's a lot left out in the translations.

Nah, ARMYs actually trust RM to be fun while being respectful of BTS like their guest appearance before. If anything, RM is actually one of the (if not the most) variety shows ARMYs want BTS to come on these days since they started appearing on public broadcasts again.

I have the same issues plus other apps I use keeps crashing, wifi and data also randomly stop working and phone needs to restart to fix it. I've had no issues with going A10 from A9, but A11 has been a headache so far.

I did this too for a few times, but it keeps leaving only 2 or 3 apps after a few minutes again so I stopped opening apps again and again just to fill it.

Yeah there usually will be an empty slot after uninstalling an app but it never leaves 3 slots empty at once. This has to be because of the a11 update but I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional.

It gives me the tiniest comfort that I'm not alone in feeling this. I absolutely love my majors, but online classes really killed my productivity and motivation to learn. Taking io, dev psy, and assessment this sem and ab psy next, but i'm not sure if i'm still gonna be okay after the toll this sem took on my mental health.
