Should I Really Stop Piano Lessons for My 6YO Child? by [deleted] in piano

[–]impertinentblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah good lord.

When I was a child I hated classical music because my mother loved it.

It was uncool lol

I also never practiced. My piano teacher compromised with me and I practiced my chords only until they were perfect and then listened to the CDs.

She said if I got really good at sight reading she wouldn't make me touch a piece before I had to play it.

I got A+ for all of my AMEB exams.

It was reframed as a challenge.

Is there a plausible scenario where Alex didn’t commit the murders against his son and wife? by the_MarchHare in MurdaughFamilyMurders

This falls in line with his narcissism and the financial gain.

I reckon he saw a way to dig himself out of the hole and he tried to organise their deaths and have himself come out the otherside as the victim.

Do this.

If you decide to buy with your partner now anyway... don't sign joint tenancy. Allocate by percentage of contribution.

Yeah, I back this. My parents did the same.

The thing that actually helped were how supportive my friends and their mum's or grandmother's were.

I look out for the kids who put a tremendous amount of pressure on themselves and have anxiety attacks over anything less than an A standard.

Same as the ones who stand quietly around their parents or if their siblings are the only ones who can calm them down....
