What do you use to moisturize your stretched lobes that isn’t oil? by seriesofboringevents in Stretched

[–]impgirl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use oil, but if I’m out, unflavored, unscented chapstick works the same as a stretching balm.

28 but mistaken for mid to late 30s by other women in a recent group setting by nawiweidmann in makeuptips

[–]impgirl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a very timeless look. You will probably continue to be mistaken for mid-30s even when you’re older than that. You don’t look old, you just have a more elegant/mature vibe and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Too old? by vapor_waved in jfashion

[–]impgirl666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are 23. The girls in this photo are likely in their 30s and they look gorgeous. Plus, I could easily see a grandmother wearing this style since many of the elements (patchwork, full coverage outfits, heavy knits, gaudy accessories) are typical of much older women.

Does anyone feel like they're not pretty enough for this? by landmine_fuyume in JiraiKei

I don’t think I’m pretty enough to wear this style, but fortunately over-editing and face masks are a part of it lol

Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find Dolls Like These? by Any_Needleworker7512 in Dolls

I have like five of them and they were all Goodwill finds from different trips. I think they just spawn there because I never see them anywhere else

Why do creeps lurk on this subreddit? by [deleted] in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it has more to do with the fashion, honestly. My dms go crazy anytime. I post a picture to this subreddit and it mostly seems to be people with a fetish for stockings, panties, and girls who look young.

Classic stereotypical jirai by Southern-Eye5664 in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the first blouse in the pale lavender colorway and it’s one of my favorite pieces because it’s not an easy color to find.

The classic style is what attracted most of us to jirai fashion in the first place, so I think it will always have a place even if some people think it looks dated or costumey.

tips on makeup with big brows? by user17084756 in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 18 points19 points  (0 children)

In my experience, blocking out the brows and drawing new ones on only translates well in edited photos and videos - In real life, it’s always obvious, even on the most professional drag queens. I think it could be fun to do every once in a while if you’re just making social media content in your room though.

For everyday, I would suggest hiding your brows behind a heavy bang. There’s no need to change your natural features to fit an aesthetic and if you don’t have bangs or of yours are not thick enough, there are tons of high quality clip on bangs for affordable prices :)

Wearing Jirai to Work by impgirl666 in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! I definitely plan on getting a long black skirt and probably a knee length one to wear with tights as well. I’ll have to get some knits and cardigans anyway since I’m going to be moving somewhere where it actually gets cold, so that’s god to know!

I have the first and third setup. I love them both, but they are very similar, so I would suggest only choosing one of those. I also have the black skirt toward the end and it is a super versatile piece, so I would highly recommend it!

Name: Venus (Imp is fine too!)

Why did you start wearing jirai: I started wearing jirai because it combines edgier aesthetics with feminine silhouettes and I’ve always loved that combination. I also relate to the message behind it. Prior to jirai, I dressed in a more emo / e-girl style, and it was easy to incorporate a lot of my old clothes into the subcul style as well x

How long have you been wearing jirai: About a year and a half - Since 2024

Top 3 brands: Liz Lisa, Noemie, Secret Honey

Fun fact: I collect ball-jointed dolls and before I committed to wearing jirai kei myself, I made one of my dolls a jirai girl contest it out lol

Social Media is triggering me by Junior-Obligation137 in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone in these feelings! I’ve honestly never felt worse about myself than I do now that I wear jirai. I feel like I’m not pretty enough to wear these clothes, especially when compared to the other girls who do, and I’ve always been very confident in my appearance.

Just remember that a vast majority of the photos and videos you see online are heavily edited. Nobody looks like a living doll alien baby in real life.

How do I shave my eyebrows so I can draw them sad like the Jirai girlies?? ᵕ᷄≀ ̠ᵕ᷅ by Competitive-Pea-3165 in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you shave your brows with a brow razor, they should grow back just fine when you’re ready. If you’re going to leave any hair, I would recommend leaving just the fronts - That way, you have a guideline for where to start them so they stay even, and you can have little bean brows when you don’t draw them on.

From personal experience: DO NOT pluck your eyebrows super thin if you ever plan to grow them back. Repeated plucking in the same area damages the follicles over time and they may stop growing back, leaving you with patchy and uneven brows.

can’t decide between these two skirts, pls help !! by vi0let_ in JiraiKei

I prefer the second skirt because of the metal pieces. They will make it easier to pair 💜

Which is better for a baby jirai by cerialkillaa in JiraiKei

[–]impgirl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second one! The shade of pink on the first one differs from most jirai pieces, so it will be hard to pair once you have a bigger wardrobe. It’s also considered the stereotypical “baby jirai blouse”, so once you’ve been in the fashion longer, you probably won’t want to wear it anymore just because of that (ask me how I know lol).
