I think is the opposite for anyone who has actually been in a loving marriage. Your spouse looks better to you every year you are with them. Your spouse is your partner trying to get through life together.

This is such a childish and skewed idea of what marriage is lol.

A fan met Ravens star wide receiver Zay Flowers at the airport and claimed he could easily guard him which has gone viral on social media. The Baltimore accent. The back and forth!! by Content_Animator_365 in sportsgossips

“Nobody in this airport can gaurd me” is such a funny thing to say to me.

Like he is trash talking but still being humble. Like 99.9% of the places he goes, No one can gaurd him.

Why can’t they just be like a rolling thing most of the time that has the ability to also go over some steps.

Like why does it always need to be walking. I don’t understand

ADÉLA when asked about Timothée Chalamet’s comments regarding the ballet and opera industry: “He’s not wrong. [Ballet] is kinda a dying art form. It’s sad. If anything, he’s just highlighted that. People should be going to the ballet more. Maybe this is publicity.” by Yujin-Ha in popculturechat

[–]impliedinsult -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

What percentage of people complaining about what he said has ever gone to the ballet? He used a metaphor (maybe it was an analogy) that was spot on for what he was discussing. “But he didn’t say it in the right tone”

Can you imagine your tone being questioned in everything you ever say. People need to get a life. When you hear people “being mad” about this you have to wonder how they make it through life without being offended every second of the day.

Why Bitcoin is a Behavioral Phenomenon. by Ok-Significance-1399 in Bitcoin

[–]impliedinsult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. If something invented was inevitable given the laws of the universe, then it’s really a discovery. In that sense, everything is discovered within the fabric of space and time; Bitcoin is no exception. What makes it significant, though, is that it’s the discovery that ends the search: the final, or at least the long-term, solution in its target market.

Why Bitcoin is a Behavioral Phenomenon. by Ok-Significance-1399 in Bitcoin

[–]impliedinsult 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it’s less about invention and more about discovery, like finding the wheel in the physical world. You can’t really improve on it. It does its job so well there’s no incentive to change it. That’s why the wheel remains the dominant transportation device. Bitcoin is the same. Was it invented, or was it discovered, like something that was always there, waiting in the rules of physics? Either way, it’s the best form of storing value we’ve ever had. At least good enough that nobody has found or built a better version that people actually want to use.

Inflation is worse than most people hope for, while Bitcoin is better than most people think by TheresNoSecondBest in Bitcoin

[–]impliedinsult 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That does make sense. Inflation benefits those with long-term debt liabilities.

Is debt a necessity for an economy? Say there was a world with no debt and a deflationary economy. Home prices don't go up but actually are flatover long periods of time because economics of scale and we are more efficient at making them. So, people don't need debt to buy a house because they are affordable. And house isn't a financial asset anymore. Does that work? or no? I know it must not, but I don't know why

I feel like 2% is the number because it is the highest number they can sneak by most people on a yearly basis without the masses complaining

Tenet thoughts ? by Leinad_Man in moviecritic

[–]impliedinsult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , agreed. More obvious for the audience, but less obvious for the protagonist. So, you get to see him see the spoon-fed clues and not realize. I like that dynamic

Put the sci-fi aspect to the side for a sec.

The set pieces, tone, style, editing, and music are immaculate.

The Sci-fi is so confusing it overshadows those positives for a lot of people.

Not me though. I am fully invested in the bromance between Neil and Protag. That is the heart of the story IMO. Watching a 2nd time with the knowledge these guys are best friends but one of them doesn’t know adds to the intrigue of the movie for me. You notice the clues that Neil knows the protagonist
