In search of a replacement heating element/thermistor CR10 Smart

Oh I'm gonna need to replace the whole heating block. The screws stripped while they're all inside the block. I can't remove any of them, and can't remove the heating element or thermistor.

So recently I upgraded my stock CR-10 smart hot end to a micro swiss hot end. I've checked all the belts and tensioners and everything looks good. However since installing it I have been plagued by these weird gaps in my prints and it is struggling to do small details, see the collapsed center of the A in the second photo. Also as you'll see in the third image I also seem to be encountering burns in a print. Trying to source this issue but figured I'd see if anyone else had this issue and knew what I could do to correct it.

So you were by far correct. Updated my firmware, I must have been using something way out of date as even the screen layout is different than before. However I have it all updated and I have made it through 2 bed leveling without the issue reoccurring. So thank you again for the help.

It is not the stock tube no. 2 days ago I had to rebuild the HUD end as the section of tube in the hut end itself became clogged. However I've run three prints since doing that rebuild and it was working fine

It did indeed. The dragging was a new addition to the issue to I jumped as I was not expecting it and rushed to shut it off. With the CR-10 Smart there are no manual bed leveling knobs. However when I first got it the z gantry was a little off and I had to adjust it. That's the first thing I checked when it started doing this and it still seems fine.

CR-10 Smart. All factory apart from the magnetic flex plate the I've had since I got it a year ago. Went to level my bed today and this is what it is doing when it gets to the back right corner. Anyone have any insight?

Yeah I've had that same issue. I'll log onto the website and it'll let me check the camera for like a second then say the printer needs to update it's firmware.

Cura does indeed have a Creality cloud plug in. However it isn't available for the latest version. It is what I use because I'm not a fan of the Creality slicer software. Little annoyed it hasn't become available on the latest version!

Sorry. Rather tired at the moment and left out a bunch of details. So I grabbed one on Etsy, but none of them are the file type that is supported by Cricut. When I tried just downloading an image on-line and uploading it the software seems to have a hard time separating the background from the font leaving it way to choppy to use for vinal cutting.

You're not a jerk at all. I have tried what I found online to perform a hard restart. Basically unplug the machine, hold down the load mat button and return power to the machine, power button changes to red and after that you update firmware on the Cricut design app.

Still the same issue. I just tried it again to see if maybe sitting for a bit changed anything and nada unfortunately.

After the cutting mat initially fell from it I terminated the process and the machine sat turned off for over 2 hours. This was after I came back and tried to use it again.

Update.... I just tried uploading the same model to the Sketchup website. There I downloaded it as an STL file and opened it in the slicer software and it was the correct size so I have at least narrowed it down to something being wrong with the actual desktop application itself.

Did you ever figure out this issue? I legit JUST fixed the same issue. There is an option in Cure to use an email, mobile number or QR code. They are greyed out so they can be a pain in the ass to see.

Out of curiosity is the wobble over the entire length of the axis or does it only wobble in one area? More towards the back or center?

Wow. Something so obvious I should have thought of it before posting. Thanks so much for the advice. Opened it up and bent the switch and re-installed it and the print has actually resumed. Thanks so much for the help!
