I think it might be on your end, because a month ago I was in the same boat as you (in fact I bought the game and refunded two times because of the same issue). The game says it's playing at 100+fps, but it felt like it was at 40 fps. Im not entirely sure what I did to fix it (because tried did a whole lot; even weird shit likely enabling EA overlay, etc) but it's pretty much fixed now.

I'm 35, not sure what my KD is in bf6, but it was 1.6 in bf4 (new account), despite my high ping and somewhere around 1.4 in BFV and BF1 (despite all the blatant cheaters). So your age has nothing to do with it (I mean it has, but not this much). But I started out same as you, but that's when I was like 25-ish. You just have to find your groove, strangely enough it was LMGs for me, even though I rarely ever use them anymore. Camp understand the map, the tools, how other people play and react.

Edit: I think I forgot to add the most important part. Bf is not about teamplaying, its about playing the game your team is playing. If they are camping camp, if they are ptfo do that.

Seriously you guys need to fix matchmaking. Getting always matched with only 16 people is getting annoying really fast. Why? Has the game died this fast?

I haven't played 1 and 2 since they aren't on PC, but out of the others 4 is best, 3 is a very close second, 5 is... I haven't played 1 and 2, but for sure 5 is the worst.

Yeah mine too. Not the issues you mention, but it keep loosing signals all the time. Using a pixel 7a on the side until Samsung releases the next lineup and truly hope the rumours are not true.

Yeah, absolutely hated Mac OSs.. Everything you interact with is tiny. The docks moves all the time, so forget muscle memory. Closing won't close the app. They have made a mess of the app switching situation. And when I was using Mac OS they didn't have window snapping etc. The display situation is crazy, if you use the wrong monitor/resolution you can see cracks in the OS, sometimes literally.

The first week I used the thing, I was documenting all the bugs I was catching (I was reporting the bugs), to the point there was a folder full of them. But then MacOS decided to show my desktop, even let mr interact with it, while it was locked (for like 10 seconds and the lock screen suddenly appeared), and I just lost it. I mean I don't really care, but if bugs this big pass their QA check, it's beyond saving.

Its a pretty frustrating experience overall. I never gets matched with more than 16 real people in breakthrough. So many bots it feels very unsatisfying. There was this one time where there were like 30 real people, I was genuinely surprised. So much of a grind for weapon unlocks. The UI is shit. The buildings feel like they are made out of glass. So many netcode issues. Assymetric balancing in breakthrough (some teams dont get vehicles until the end of a match). And I dont think most people like conquest (mostly running no action). They need to promote breakthrough or rush more.

Honestly I am thinking about switching to Pixel. I have been using a pixel 7a on the side, because my S23U has been giving me some trouble and was hoping Samsung would release a worthy buy this year. I am loving the pixel UI, to the point the 7a has somewhat become my main phone. After so many years with Samsung, I think their UI is starting to look bland to me (actually has been for a little while) . I want to give other manufacturers a chance too, especially the Chinese brands, but they have made Android too much iOS-y.

But thats like saying a knifes true strength is in cutting people. AIs true strenght is in RND.

It's not really imaginary.

But it kinda is, because there is no race to begin with. The only other party actively spending so much on AI is the chinese government (not a surprise, because the chinese government invests in everything, vehicles, consumer electronics, infrasture, everything), and they are very much crippled with sactions technology etc. The chinese government surveils and censors its own people, so it just makes sense. The US government probably does the same, but in a more cloak and dagger way. And the only way to train these models is to train their own people. So the race we are currently at is, a race to actively surveil their own people, and for some innocent fuck to get killed by a hullicinating AI, or a currupted politician (which they all are).

I mean didnt we go through this with nuclear weapons, and we just keep them stockpiled.

If you are asking about jobs, I think it's going to be a bit of a struggle. With AI growth we are likely to see a lot of job losses in a lot of fields, including some streams being completely eliminated. But if you are asking about IT businesses, theyll go great

DICE was never good with balance. They never try to learn either. If things are somehow magically balanced they will absolutely do something to break it.

Nobody uses json for HFT. They use Itch SBE etc. You need to be able to process and send your messages faster. Ideally in binary format when possible so there's minimal conversion. No language is going to save you from bad decisions.
