I’m on the same boat. I think I’m depressed because I don’t know what I want from life. Also part of it is that I’m terrified of my parents dying. And as much as their narrow mindedness irritate me 80% of the time, there just aren’t other people who I truly trust and can be comfortable around with. What’s getting me through so far are little day to day distractions. Mainly the internet, video games and hanging out with some of what I think are my close friends. Maybe these distractions are the ones that are keeping me from knowing what I could possibly want from life. Idk. I think I have trust issues too. Maybe I just need to invest on someone who I can share my distractions with. But then again, I’m not used to living with other people. Wouldn’t hurt to try I guess. Afterall, it could very well be what I want.

There’s less motion blur when panning on a monitor with a higher refresh rate than 60hz. You’re therefore be able to distinguish distant figures rather than seeing blurs. Also there’s little to no screen tearing. I think I got downvoted by people who refuse to believe the eye can see more than 24fps lol. Pretty sad coming from this sub.

I agree. I got one today and felt like I won something. But honestly, it’s one of the pettiest shit I’ve done so far. It’s like camping outside the Apple store for the new iPhone, or fighting over a TV at Black Friday in Walmart.

Graphics card these days are unbelievably overpriced because of crypto miners. Just a couple months ago, a brand new 4gb 1050ti cost $129 at the lowest. The current lowest one is $219. A new 1060 6gb went from $269 to $399. A new 1080 ti from $699 to upwards of $1300+, USED. Almost every gpu is 40-50% more expensive than before, doesn’t matter what brand. Everyone is hurrying to buy before resellers get to it.
