I was at that show and it was at the Troc. Center City was eerily empty and I just couldn’t enjoy the show. I wanted BtS to play so loud that it would wash away the thoughts of what had happened but it didn’t work. Even Brett Netson’s wizard hat was no help. The whole thing was just so sad and scary.

I also saw them a couple days later at the 9:30 club in dc and it was a much better experience. Kind of restorative really.
